My french is horrible, but I often switch to RDS after the Canadiens games to listen to the 4 idiots they have on.

In a time when the Canadiens are going through some turbulent times and Bob Gainey decides to take over the job until the end of the hockey season. These 4 morons decide to talk about which French person should take over the Canadiens head coaching job. Instead of hockey here and now.

Here are the 3 people they (The RDS Idiots) would like to see.

Bob Hartley (meh whatever)
Patrick Roy (no thanks)
Mario Tremblay (are they blank, dablank, blankity blank serious?)

I am sick of those guys thinking that the Canadiens (owned by an American) must have a french theme. The 50's and 60's are dead and gone.

These are the same guys who helped spread the rumours about Kovalev wanting out, and about countless other rumours of the french players being released or benched.

It's disgusting. Tonight Tony Marinaro will be on with the same idiots to sort them out, but all you're going to see are 4 idiots ganging up on Tony.

Next Saku Koivu was on the radio yesterday. Basically in a nut shell he said that there was a communication problem between Carbonneau and most of the team (I'm guessing anyone who didn't speak the lingo). He was nice about it, but basically slammed him hard.

Everything he said I supported 100%

On another note Carey Price gets the start against the Isles! :dance:

Shane they will never get out of the 70's when is the last time did you see someone in the red white and blue fly down the wing and score at will?, yes my friend it's been awhile and they always compare any team or player to the Habs greats, nowadays there is only 2 or 3 players in the whole NHL that can score at will, back then the red white and blue had 2 or 3 players like that every year. And I cant see the Habs having a 50 goal scorer anytime soon? LOL
 
Shane, it's best you don't know French. If you actually understood what those guys on L'Antichambre, 110% and other agenda laden sports shows, your head would literally explode.

Last week they were harping on Carbo, pointing out his every flaw, saying he should get canned... now they've changed their tune and are aboard the Carbo bandwagon and blaming everything wrong with the team on Koivu.

It's a stupid cycle and if there is one man in the NHL that doesn't care what these bozos think and what the politics behind the team and city are about, it's Bob Gainey.

Do I think he's the best GM available? Nope, but he certainly is the right one for Montreal at the moment. This guy can stand there stone cold in front of those clowns who spread filth and not give them the time of day, whereas our past GMs succumbed to the insane pressures of Quebec.

I can't wait for them to draft that special someone. It won't be that 1st rounder, it will be someone in the 2nd or 3rd round, most likely coming out of Hamilton.

btw Shane, don't even bother with Team 990. Marinaro is a clown. A complete waste of time. He's basically a grown man's version of those 12 year old kids on the official Habs forum.

Pierre McGuire flip flops on issues more than Hasek did in his crease. Remember when we drafted Price, he said it was a HUGE mistake. A year and a half later Pee-Air thought of Price as the second coming. Lately he's been saying Price was a big mistake and that they should trade him.

He's also lied on radio claiming that the Canadiens were recipients of revenue sharing before the lockout which is a flat out LIE. Canadiens were the biggest contributors to revenue sharing even before the lockout.

THat's been his schtick lately, to piss all over the team. Last year he was all over the Habs, it was sickening. He wouldn't stop proclaiming his love for the team, the moves Gainey made, Price, Carbo etc. Now he's suddenly changed his tune to Gainey is a bad GM, Price should be traded blah blah.

I'm in LA, I don't get RDS but I will see if they upload the videos on Youtube or the official site.

On another site I post at, some of the fans give a brief summary. If there is one tonight I'll let you know.

not sure if shane was refering to the antichambre on rds, or 110%, if its the latter, you can watch it at the tqs website.
 
Andre if I didn't bother with the Team 990, then I'd have to listen to The Fan 590, and that ain't gonna happen:D

I like 990. There are some good shows there, they talk lots of callers, and they answer every single message you send them.

PJ Stock is about the only person I won't take serious. But his shows are funny because he hates the Canadiens, and it kills him they get so much attention.

The best hockey show in Montreal is on CJAD, but I only listen to them before and after games.

I don't know what show it was Kyle. There were four older men with rock star head sets on going on about Hartley, Tremblay, and Roy. I went to my anger management class little early today because of it:D

thats L'Antichambre, but 110% is equally pro-francophone, anti-anglo. Plus you get to watch PJ stock on it (its fun watching all the french guys gang up on the sole anglo)

I'm going to have to go on a refresher course to upgrade my lingo. It's all that everyone was talking about today, and how people are sick of it. Western Canadiens fans more than QUE.
 
I'm from rite here in mtl. and it makes me sick (all the pro francophone crap, not just when it comes to hockey), sometimes I just want to move away, but then I remember That I wouldn't be near my beloved Habs
 
Pierre is a big baby, he hates the Habs because he will never get a chance to coach them LOL, So start the rumors Pierre for next Habs coach, by the time this is done nobody will want this job LOL, and Shane the next special kid will be Subban, he's got the skills and the personality that will make him a star

Pee-Air hates the Habs because Pierre Gauther (assistant Habs GM), the former the Senators GM, had the good conscience to fire McGuire from his job as a bus boy and ship him off to Baton Rouge (ECHL)
 
The sad thing is Mario Tremblay is the second best option of those three mentioned. Bob Hartley is absolutely dreadful. I have faith in Gainey and I think the next head coach is already standing next to him...Don Lever.
 
Apparently last night vs Edmonton, Lever was watching the game from upstairs and was called down by Gainey between the 2nd and 3rd to make some adjustments to the game plan.

Very interesting stuff :D
 
Lever will be the coach why else would he be brought up? didn't carbo start the same way let's look at the roster 75% of the current roster has been coached by him. Who cares if his doesn't speak french our captain doesn't speak french and also it gives him an advantage in press conferences LOL

Yeah, I don't care if he speaks french either. The french press doesn't speak hockey and they still get to "report" on it.
