With the impending release of UD Ultimate and Hot Prospects (and possibly, The Cup), the "05-06" Releases are stretching well into the Summer, past the end of the season. It's not even close really. Is the Draft not the first action of a new season? What about the opening of Free Agency? Some might classify the first regular season game the start of a new year? I suppose you might be looking for a point...
I question whether these sets should really be classified as 05-06 sets. If they are not 05-06 sets, then the RC's in the sets should not be eligible for the RC tags (Could you imagine the response if something like that happened for the sets that have not come out yet?). I may have missed/not know of the "official" cut off date for 05-06 sets so don't rail me too much for that in the event I have missed something. It's something I've been thinking considering this is probably the latest these sets have been coming out in recent memory (Usually the next season's releases would be slated for release (ie, Pacific in July/August). If there is not a date, its really something that should be there as it is kinda ridiculous to have sets coming out this late, regardless of whom is doing it.
Either way, I was curious of everyone's thoughts on the late releases we are seeing this year as it is quite abnormal (And disappointing considering that in 03-04, Premier/RU was out at the Expo, and I believe ITG Ultimate had dropped just before)
