When is the next big card show in Calgary??

Does the acadia show still go on?

I believe there is a card show this weekend at Deer Valley Mall on Saturday.

There was the Acadia show last weekend, next one is February 6th and 7th

There is also a show at White Cliffe Estates? on February 20th and 27th. I was given a piece of paper with those dates and addresses from a guy at the Acadia show.

That is interesting. I know back in the day, **** from Dicks collectibles would run a monthly show in that mall, where his shop is located. He ran this show for a few years but then a couple years before his death, he has "falling out" with mall management and the show was cancelled. From what i know, Dicks sons have taken over his card shop in that mall. I wonder if they are the ones putting this on and if it will become a regular thing?

White Cliff estates show i have never heard of. What did the flyer say? How many tables, any auto guests?


Aren't we about due for one of Bossa's "Big One" card show with autograph guests? We are closing in on a year since the last one.

I am guessing the next Bossa show would be in April, as for the show at the mall it is run by Dicks son

I think you should consider a realignment of priorities.

I went to the show in front of ****'s Collectibles yesterday. Neither the 2 guys who set up, nor ****'s daughter (who has taken over) have heard of H.I.

Never fear, theslurpee enlightened them all and encouraged them to list the show, which is the third Saturday of every month, here on H.I.

It's good to hear that his family has reestablished the show, I hope it can catch on again. I sued to set up there, and that was my shop of choice for over ten years, I went in a couple times last summer and the amount of wax had dropped fairly dramatically. I have a soft spot for ****'s though, I know some had their issues with ****, but he was always really good to me.

I just went to Bossa's site. And they haven't announced a date; however, they have said they'll be at a new location and that there will be In The Game and Upper Deck redemption programs at the event. Sounds interesting.

The next Bossa Calgary show will probably be held in mid-late April and the early rumoured venue will be the Deerfoot Casino,

Dirk's Collectibles' new monthly show is apparently up and running but the only people who know about it are his customers,

"White Cliffe Estates" is a seniors' retirement complex and the promoter is a tenant there. He's a good guy who was handing out slips of paper at the recent Acadia show trying to promote it. Might be a tough sell though...
