several good vintage groups on facebook. sometimes get lucky on facebook market place and kijiji as well

Matt, just go to the local shows. There is always a ton there.There will be two shows in NB this month and one in NS so lots of choices and a lot of selection.Going to the shows the cards will be in hand. You can pick it up.Look at it in hand.And when you walk away the seller has your money and you have your new card.Never have to worry about it being delivered by either a poor seller that you will never meet or problems with shipping.Good luck.

One thing I will say is if EVER in doubt, ask, ask, and ask more questions. When I jumped into vintage I made the mistake of not scrutinizing pictures and asking enough questions only to receive "NRMT" cards with creases. After some initial lessons it's been pretty smooth sailing. My advice is if it's anything of substantial value to ask questions, ask for additional pics, etc before buying. If the seller won't oblige then move on to the next one.
