Which 05/06 Insert set is your favourite?

With all the new stuff this year, I want to know what most people like.

I really liked the Series 1 Notable Numbers autograph set.

My hands down fave has to be the Ice Scripts auto set from Trilogy. Hard autos, good player selection, reasonable assortment of short printed cards, thick acetate card stock...what's not to love?

Mine would have to be the Frozen in Time set from Trilogy. As much as I like the Ice Scripts set, FIT is a solid set of players, fairly cheap to put together, and looks great.

Here are my favorites YTD:

Favorite Set (Base + RC's): Black Diamond - Great design and the cards seem to be holding their value really well. I didn't include SPx or SPA since they are not for most set builders due the the huge $$$.

Parallel Set: SPx Spectrum #/25 (Best design in years IMO)

GU Set: Anything H & P. As usual ITG blew us away with some of the sweetest swatches ever.

Autograph set: SP Authentic (Take your pick of which sub-set) I think every sub-set except the single SOTT has a great checklist, design and hard-signed autos.

Trilogy Frozen In Time...couldn't afford any of the Ice Scripts.

Ice Scripts for sure. It was tough to put together though.

I know it is only a basic insert set, but I LOVE the HomeTown Heroes that UD did in series I & II. Glad they extended it into series II as the design is great!

For myself I like the hometown heroes. Maybe next time they can show their acutal hometown.

for me its the beehive scrapbook auto's hard signed and everyone can afford them and some great names new and old to please everyone

I liked the Notable Numbers autos. Good mix of old and new.

I have been partial to the SPGU auto sets this year. I think the Statscription set is very nice along with the autodratft set.
