Im really on the fence about buying a case of SPGU, yes some nice stuff
but not sure the resale value is there!

Really thinking about ITG Stickwork case next month also > should be BIG!

Others are SPX which looks to have some added value with Trilogy updates within it.

And than there is Crown Royale hmmm not totally sure if i will ever touch
a Panini Product again> doesnt hold any value at all

So looking for thoughts and opinions

I voted for `other`, i wouldnt touch any of them.

13-14 SPGU : Not a fan of this product, even if they added a bunch of hits in the recent years.Usually a brutal break.Rookies sells poorly, not enough actual GU.

13-14 ITG Stickwork : Products looks good, as did History of Hockey, i would wait to see a few breaks before taking the plunge.

13-14 SPX : Not a fan of sticker auto rc, not much in it other then the rc`s.

13-14 Crown Royale : If you dont hit a Silhouette your lucky to get 20% back. They killed the silhouette last year by making them easy to get (regular jersey silhouette, auto jersey silhouette, auto patch silhouette) and they finish them this year by making them fakeable, the purpose of the original design was made to make them harder to fake.

Stickwork would probably be the best bang for your buck imo. Why? Simply because it's a first of product with no real comparable market reference to base value on. If you're looking for both a decent return and a fun break you can't go wrong either way. Especially if resale value is important to you.

I've always been a fan of SPGU until I cracked a half case last year. Aside from the Supreme inserts it's almost a guaranteed loss.

Just my 2 cents.

Spx...you get triolgy rookie updates and a pack of ICE.

Spgu rookies will be alright this year but tough to hit

It's a crapshoot with all of them, you're not likely to recoup your money off of any of them. With that said I would go with SPx, a nice diversity of hits. I don't like the non-numbering for much of the SPGU product these days. And ITG StickWork seems like a one note product, and I'm not particularly interested in that one note.

Since I'm ordering a Stickworks case… Stickwork. I love the fact that is Game Used stuff, only sticks (I love it), my type of players, the design speaks to me (not all ITG stuff does) and if you are planning to open for profit don't open at all.

Why not these

SPGU - With that name there should be a lot less fabricated stuff
SPX - Sticker autos meh
Crown Royale - Love the looks but not for me

well im glad i didnt do a case of SPGU just from watching some breaks.

Unanimously looks like ITG Stickwork is the fav by many, and i plan on doing a 20 box
case of it :) ITG might not have a license but they still put out some of the nicest products> although they use they same design over and over again which to me is getting a little boring.

Might also do a a case of SPX, i like the added value in there with Trilogy,ICE

as for Panini ya honestly i do not think i will ever touch a Panini product EVER again!!!
i did 12 boxes of Dominion hit 2 rookies Monahan/99 and a few other nice ones but lost
way to much $$ on it> for me Panini is plain and simple filled with junk and $2 jersey cards > heck if that > and besides none of their product holds any value on the the secondary market . ( watch what Totally Certified will do = more crap junk from Panini.

Thanks for all the replies and votes, look forward to see what many others say

Stickwork, also just because I believe in ITG over the other two. But id say best bang for buck either way. SPGU as we have all seen, is a joke, gets worse every year. Crown Royale, like u said, its Panini, it loses value. SPx, who knows? might be good, might not. Most of ITGs special sets that have come out have been huge and highly collected. Forever Rivals, Captain C, Motown Madness, Broad Street Bullies, etc. Id go with ITG on this one

I would say SPGU if you are a rookie collector. Rookies are set up similar to Titanium as they are numbered to jersey numbered. Supreme patches looks nice. Stickwork will be a good choice as well.

I also went Stickworks, I haven't seen a break yet (as it isn't live) but it is so limited and all of the cards are low numbered. All images have looked great and lots of vintage in there.

I am only going to open a box or so but I will be doing as many pick the hits breaks as Breakaway SC will do.
