Something I've wondered about (especially after sorting a bunch of my cards over the weekend).

When you put a card thats oriented landscape or sideways do you put the card in so that the opening of the toploader (or the magnetic snap or screw of the one touches) is on the right side, or the left?

Myself its on the right, but a couple of cards (from two companies) have me thinking thats wrong (03/04 Topps Pristine has it on the left) and the 05/06 Ultimate Signatures cards also show it like it should be on the left (if you look at the back of the card)...

Whats everyone else do? Simple poll with only two options..

ahhah you wouldnt believe it !!!

at the show yesterday in vancouver.. we had a discussion about this after the opening of my box of superlative how we hated the way the cards faced ahahah

Nothing aggravates me more than card companies putting horizontal cards in a set and not keeping a standard for the back of the card. I like to display the fronts all the same, but when you flip it over, sometimes the text is right side up, and other times it's upside down....argh!

Gotta agree with Pucker. Really annoying.

Seriously thought, we're whinin' about which direction a horizontal hockey card is pointed towards and the world is literally dying as we speak. What the F*** is wrong with us?

LOL.

Ha, there is a great example of what I'm talking about in rectanglez signature.. From 05/06 to 06/07 even ITG switched the orientation... (Hainsworth cards).

examples of those from this year include SPx and Hot Prospects... kinda irritated me -.-"

not to mention 05/06 Ultimate

I put mine the like Cup Wolski in deankal's sig, not like the Ovechkin. I really dislike putting my cards the Ovechkin way.

Funny topic though Casey! :D

I've always been a little bit different.......that why I face mine the same way as the Ovechkin in Deankals sig.

My methodology is weird. Where possible, if the card number is in a corner, I make sure that it's in a top corner in its holder. If the card number is anywhere else, I would probably do right-side of the card.

I agree with this way...it's how I do it. Unless the back of card is vertical, then I make sure the top of the back is up towards the top loader opening, or magnetic end of the one-touch.

I'm also with Dean's Wolski card. The other way makes me dizzy.

I put the magnet side to the right side too. I also don't like how ITG does their labels on the right one year and opposite the next like in rectz's pictures.
