Anyone watching this series? Kelowna took a 3-0 lead in the series, Calgary won the next 2, to make it 3-2. Tonight is game 6, Calgary is winning 1-0 in the 2nd period. Mikael Backlund just got LEVELED by Stone of Calgary, one of the biggest open ice hit i have ever seen, should make all the highlites across Canada. GO HITMEN

This one is that much sweeter because nobody expected this to happen - it was supposed to be a coronation for the Hitmen - well, there's a reason that the games are played on the ice and championships aren't dished out in a royal court! Amazes me how Flamingo fans see positives in all of the losses LOL :beer:

Hopefully, Backlund does not make the team in October, and I will be able to see him in Abbotsford. It's kind of strange for me. I despise everything about the team (okay, not Iggy - who can despise him?) but am looking forward to seeing the prospects before they are in Calgary.

totally shocked, can't wait to get back into WHL hockey next season. got my season tickets for the PA Raiders! woo hoo, 2010 WHL champs

all joking aside, good to see 2 local boys Fiddler and Broda have a good run. Tough to see them lose out though, PA needs some more hockey success one way or another.
