Who was it that collected Chimera again? '01-02 Vanguard break

Broke a box of 01-02 Vanguard today at the shop.

Not as good as the last one with the dual net and the Kovalchuk RC but still well worth the cheap price that the box cost:

so two numbered Chimera's in the box for the Chimera collector so step right up!

Also opened a Private Stock box and it turned out to be a "hot box" with all the memorabilia being patch variations. That being said, in my opinion this box was about as hot as a nude picture of Estelle Getty from the Golden Girls, way to go on the one color patches Pacific

Finally, the shop owner picked up a Super Box for me- I told him that I only want the National Super Box version and he mistakenly got a Spring Expo box. He feels bad and I feel bad that I was the one who told him to get it even though the mistake was his. He said that I could either get rid of it for him on Ebay, sell it here or open it if I want and all I have to pay is cost. What should I do with it? It has less value I believe than the Nat'l one although the O6 packs are better in here than in the Nat'l one. Opinions welcome...

Dave, I had replied earlier in Mike's thread about his Vanguard boxes to keep busting them to find that Chimera 1/1. And then I saw this thread and my stomach almost jumped out of my throat thinking you pulled it, lol!!

I think you're lookin' for STP.

I busted one of those 'hot' boxes earlier this year. Besides a 1 color Roy patch, there was nothing hot about it. I think I might've seen Estelle Getty signin' those pictures at the expo

Those chicks didn't look like Estelle Getty to me! I suppose that even 1C patches are better than 1C jerseys but man what a disappointment- I was really excited after pack 2 thinking that it was going to be one for the ages.
