Serious though I will predict the scoring title to goto:

Teemu Selanne not really sure why but I think he has been a great story so far this season, would love to see him carry it through to a scoring title...

Sidney Crosby, the kid is the real deal and I think he's got the best overall PPG, consistently lighting it up. A playmaker and he can score, kinda hard for him to not rack up the points.

it'd be nice to see Iggy finish in the top for points and not only goals..

Unless he gets hurt I can't see any reason why Jagr wouldn't win the scoring title. We've talked about his motivation in past threads, but it just seems like he's somehow at the top of his game right now. Of course having targets like Straka and Shanny don't hurt when it comes to racking up points. Just ask Cheechoo about Thornton

I voted for Thornton. Believe he's just starting to get going! If not him I think it will be Hossa. Crosby will be third.

On a side note, what's the record for assists in a season? Think Thornton has a shot at it this season? I still giggle at John Buccigross's crack that Jumbo Joe seems to want to end a season with a stat line of 0-143...hehe.

I got to watch the game tonite - man, Crosby just seems to move at twice the speed of anyone else when he has the puck. And he's so hungry for points. If the Pens stay healthy I say the title is now Crosby's to lose. Lose Malkin or Gonchar and it's a different story.

Right now Crosby is on pace for 137 points. Nobody has reached that mark since Mario back in 92

I snuck out with him at third overall, and I was laughing the entire time. I think the kid's got the Art Ross Trophy locked up for the forseeable future.
