Nash or Billups? I was having a debate with THROWBACKPACKS and he says Billups I think Nash without a doubt! LMK guys!
Yeah I mean the 17 PPG they got from Joe Johnson was nothing and the 15 PPG and 6 RPG from Q-Rich meant even less to the team's success.piercetoricky said:billups cant win an mvp and had rasheed, ben, tay and rip. Got a good bench to, so does the suns but they have amare and marion thats all
That's because he was on a high scoring offense with probably one of the best post players in the league in Amare, a lightning quick forward in Marion and sharpshooters like JJ & Q-Rich.piercetoricky said:ok well nash doubled billups assists and had basically the same rebounds a and points.
What part of "Billups was the 03-04 Finals MVP" don't you understand?piercetoricky said:And Billups can never win an MVP

If I had to start a team with a point guard, probably wont pick either of these but I would give a very very slight edge to Nash, even though Shaq was MVP this year
No way! Ben, Sheed, Prince & Hamilton play in Detroit?piercetoricky said:casket, you act like detroit has no one nice try though. They got ben, rasheed, tay and rip.

I still think Kidd is better. Like I said, Billups is a great shooter, he's clutch and all but Kidd just makes everyone around him better. Plus he's still the best passer in the league and the best rebounding PG of the past 10-15 years.NoFlyZone said:Well, in my mind Billups and Nash are the two best point guards in the NBA. Both are great team players and they are both very unselfish players. I really cant say who is better though. Nash is probably a better passer and Billups is probably the toughest PG in the league. They both average the same amount of points, but I really think Billups may get 20+ this season now that Larry Brown is gone.
Actually I would have both of these players starting for me on my dram team… (Billups SG)
