Who's NOT going to Spring Expo?

Since it seems like everybody and their mom is going to Spring Expo, I thought I'd make a thread to us not able to attend! I can't go to Expo because I can't get the time off from work! Who else can't go and why?

I can't go because I'm in Edmondon and a trip for hockey cards would not go over well with the wife.

if anyone going to the expo has a chance, i'd love it if you could keep an eye out for the 2 cards in my signature.

I can't go because I'll be vacationing in sunny (I hope) South Carolina. Perhaps I'll make it to my first Expo in the fall.

I will also not be there. Too far and can't really afford the time off of work right now. Maybe another time.

Some day I will attend an Expo, it just won't be this one. I look forward to travelling 5756km , and meeting some of you guys. I'd be the Brit running around like a headless chicken

I won't be there this time, as the Wife is due in June. Will miss it, as I really have enjoyed the last 2-3. Will have to drop Wes and Steve my (even shorter) Brett Hull and Shanny Wantlist

LOL, nice thread L. Well obviously I am not going since my "roomie" can't make it!

Seriously, I got stiffed in the chronological pecking order for time off at work. Some guy got his request in about 2 months before me.

For those of you who don't know, in the fire service we have our schedules done a YEAR in advance (well, at least our department does). Yes, I know on January 1st when I work in December of that year!

I have put in time off for next spring. Not doing a Fall Expo ever, not enough new releases by that time (Yippee, Power Play or Artifacts! ).

So I'll see some of you a year from now!

I'm one of the not going guys too. Cant take the time off of work as its the weekend after Finals and the following Monday I have to be in New Orleans for my job. TOO MUCH going on I plan on going to one at some point!

Two reasons why I can't go.

1) I can't really afford to fly and stay out there.

2) I am really lazy

but I might go next year.....

Well I like collecting as much as the next guy, but if I'm going somewhere far away, it's gonna be hot with alot of girls in bikinis walking around. Pretty sure there will be no one there who I want to see in a bikini

I was thinking about making my first-ever trip to the Expo this spring...then we dropped 2 employees at my work ...and now the rest of us get to look forward to a fun-filled summer of OT until the newbies get trained, so needless to say, we're pretty much stroked for vacation time.
