Why isn't Panini doing hockey any longer?

Ive been participating in a lot of box breaks lately. Mostly NFL and MLB Panini breaks. Why did Panini walk away from NHL products in 2014?

They didn't walk away, the nhlpa signed an exclusive with ud and forced panini out of the equation
