I have to admit the amount of high end cardboard that HI shows from it's members are second to none. You guys know who you are so keep it coming,it's always a pleasure reading the posts.

There was a time on this board that I would show off the big hauls(Top 5,10's whatever) but after a few situations that I had to get the police involved with, everything slowed down. The Hobby has become 1st,your buddys and chatting with the new people you meet locally or through the boards. I've also got the chance to release many former PC stuff to help others in their collections which is always nice to do.That being said, we all still have one common ground.......The Cardboard and it's still nice to pick up the odd nice piece from time to time

Here's 3 pieces that I'm very happy to add and put it in safe and secure storage never to see the light of day. New definition to permanent PC,LOL

Colin Greening 1/1

Out of all the Newfoundland players Colin has a little more meaning than the rest. My Grandmother was a Greening from Musgrave Town and there is a relation there but it's pretty distant.Even if Colin is a Sen I'll still like to add the odd piece from his rookie season.

Bobby Orr

Only an opinion but I still think this guy was the best ever to lace up the skates.Through the years of collecting Orr for a close buddy,I've starting a bit of a collection myself.

Love both but when History of Hockey came out I was ready to bust some and hope to pull the Orr Painting. Long story short, my interest was not there, never bought any and was I glad of that, lol. This 1/1 came up eventually and it was one piece I really wanted.

Anyhow, thanks for the read and nice to play with the big boys. Maybe next year I'll show some more, lol

very nice pick ups

love the old UM that is what made that set in my mind

great pc cards for your collection

Thank god we managed to stay away from that history of hockey.... That being said the art cards are fantastic and that being one of the 1/1's makes it that much better. The shield is also a very nice pickup a well.

Great cards Dean. Cool connection on the Greening piece and no one ever needs an excuse to collect Orr, 'specially beauty pieces like those.

Thanks for showing!

Green(ing) with envy over those Orrs!

Orr... Greening from Orr to Orr over those pickups

I know shield yourselves from my bad puns! :duh:

Great stuff Deano, nice to see some quality stuff coming in

AWESOME cards Dean AND glad to see you are back in the hobby after what you have been through.
Your contributions as a moderator to this site are much appreciated.
See YA at Expo (hopefully)!
Norm

Thanks for all the kind comments fellas.

Scotty, where abouts is your mother from?

Norm, thanks and I'm sure you'll blind me with your goodies in TO.
