I don't think the seller did it, but the person they got it from probably did, tried to sell it and couldn't, so they threw it into the lot this guy bought. I do give the seller credit for at least acknowledging the fact it's probably fake.

Nope, they were hand numbered, some of them. Too bad too...Does a Gretzky auto'ed jersey card really need to be two colors to be an awesome card? No. Not even a good job coloring. The outside of the jersey swatch is even ruined...terrible. Sad even

I don't know about that Steve - nothing says he wasn't the one who did it, then realized he wouldn't be able to sell it with such a bad hack job.

As for why someone would do it... don't know. Too bad, because they were nice cards.
