As a Rangers fan it's probably hard to watch 2 teams you hate, but I just can't see how game 6 of an extreme underdog team that has overcome one of the best teams in the history of the NHL playing in the biggest arena for hockey against the former Cup champs is better than a 2-0 baseball game

but to each his own I suppose.

Back to the original question - someone might want to look into building availability first before complaining about that. Not much you can do if you have events booked months in advance for something that MIGHT happen. When teams need all the revenues they can get - you can't have buildings sitting empty more often than not.

As for the scheduling, who knows. You know there isnt a baseketball game getting played directly after (like is possible after a 1:00 game). Someone messed up that one.

edit: but seriously, I didnt watch a single second of the hockey game. And hey, softball was on ESPN again today .................
