Why would this sell so High?

How many of those come from the chest piece? Most of the 3-4 color patches I've seen are number patches. Could be a set builder willing to pay a bunch for it.

Another Moller collector told me about the auction on Sunday and said he couldn't believe the auction had gone up to that amount already. Is Moller playing well and on the rise in LA right now or something?

not really, he was alot better his rookie year before injury in the World juniors. He has had only 3 goals this year.

The guy with 60 feedback kept going up the ladder and then stopped altogether. Could have been his limit?? Could have been the SELLER's shill bidder?? Could be the card is wanted? Who knows why you have an anomaly auction sometimes. ???

Next one is probably under $30 like you said they should be. :)

Even if Mr. 60 was a shill bidder it still means the other guy was willing to pay $130 or higher for the card.

And if he wasn't a shill bidder then we have TWO people willing to pay that much. The world isn't ready for that. :dizzy:

$30 to $40 would be the most I would pay if I wanted to grab one of these Mollers

This is really surprising. Honestly, the patch is four colors but it is really not that special. Maybe this card hasn't surfaced for a while and a couple of hardcore collectors wanted it. Hard to believe since it is /100.
