Wild vs. Ducks Fights

Forgive me if this has been discussed already. Anyone see Boogaard hit the official on accident last night? Punched him in the ribs, the official had to leave the game for a couple of minutes. Then, the next faceoff, Scott and a Duck(cant remember) drop gloves. An official gets in the way and Scott physically throws him out of the way. He got a 10 minute misconduct but shouldnt he be suspended or something? I know hockey is physical but to put your hands on a ref should come with consequences I think. I dont know, but to me it was a bad choice to even try to fight after the other guy got hurt like that, and then to toss the official like a sack o' potatoes you would think might draw some attention.

I saw Boogaard throw the punch at Boynton after he was already down, so maybe that was it? I wouldnt mind seeing them both suspended for 10 games to allow for the Wild to put more hockey players on the bench.

He threw it after he was down, but I think the bigger issue was that he hit the ref in the ribs, lol. Yeah, a few hockey players wouldnt hurt:beer:

I thought the whole ref thing was out to lunch. I mean if the ref wants to get in the way he better be looking to get hit. I know they want to control the game sometimes but last night was just out of control.

I definitely agree that they tried to control it too much. And its not Boogaards fault he hit the ref, the ref got in the way. I think the Scott fight was a different deal though. Yeah, the ref should have let them go, but he didnt and I think its weird all Scott got was a 10 minute misconduct for throwing him like that.
