The top three prospects in the 2010 draft are all very good - Hall, Seguin and Fowler.
But so were Daigle,Wickenheiser and Falloon. The problem with draft picks is they are hit and miss.
I think the Bruins should trade it for scoring NOW! There is no guarantee they will land Hall and seems to me there is a big drop off after that.
Unless the Bruins want to go into rebuilding mode I say they use the leverage that it could be a number one pick and get someone young and that is signed for a decent number of years at a good price now.
I have no idea Bill. Kovalchuk would be too expensive but that is what we need, someone that can flat out score. Maybe they shouldn't have let Kessel go but he obviously didn't want to be in Boston for whatever reason.
I just don't see the sense in hanging onto it when they could be just one piece away from being a real contender when healthy. Some 18 year old out of juniors isn't going to help them do that for at least 3-4 years even if it is Hall.
