Will Quebec Labour Laws Stop a Lockout?

Typical Quebec union bulls**t.

"If we don't get what we want, we'll stomp our feet, squint our eyes shut, and plug our ears and say 'La, La, La' until somebody caves."

I swear, every time I hear something stupid involving unions (more stupid than usual anyway), it's usually involving a group in La Belle Province. Everybody knows the corruption is rampant there, but stuff like this just makes me shake my head. That's not meant to be a dig against any of our members from there, but I speak from first hand experience. My job requires me to spend more time dealing with union groups in Quebec and a fair amount of travel there, more so than anywhere else.

The scary thing is that with how messed up the system is in Quebec it may actually work. If it did though it would only be the Habs that would be in the situation correct? I mean something can't be extended to different jurisdictions.

Beeing a unionize construction worker since 2001, i can say my 15-20$ per week is well spent. Its pretty impresive to see 3-4 bus full of goons come close down a building site.

Interesting place for a rant about Quebec's union laws, not sure what it has to do with the article, but hey, rant away folks.

As someone with half english and half french canadian background. It's always fun to see the hypocricy while each group fights amongst themselves.

Back on topic, all I can see coming out of this is a few Canadiens players getting their pay cheque for 2012-13 even if there is a lock out.
