Will the May TORONTO Show be worth the Trip?

Booked my flight last week.
As to Cyril's question both shows have their positives.Weather may be better in May than November if you are standing in line for long.

Many thanks to all respondants!! I have made the trek twice for the fall show and had a blast both times. Based on the comments in this post I believe my decision is made and I now have to book the flights accordingly. Thanks guys!!!

Hope to see you there! Hope to finally put a face to a member whom I have traded with many times :)

Back on topic, the people you meet in this hobby through the boards and other places, are cool to get to know over email, the chat room and even the telephone... but lasting friendships happen when you meet in person. Expo solidifies the relationships we've built online.

Bruce nailed it. The best part of the Expo is meeting so many like-minded people and chit-chatting for three days. And then each time you return you have a better time because you get to meet up with friends. We all have this hobby in common which is a great platform from which to launch these friendships. And if you think about it, if you go to Expo twice a year or even once a year, you are probably seeing your hobby friends more often than you see most of your old high school friends (age dependent).

That said, regrettably I will not be at Spring Expo this year as I have a bachelor party in Las Vegas to attend that same weekend. I love Vegas, but I love Expo even more. And I really love Vegas. ;)
