I agree with most of the above except I do think Compendium blue, red and gold are rc’s. That’s how I view them for my pc and rc collections.

They are rookie parallels not true rookies. There can only be 1 true rookie card in a set. As an example, Hughes OPC Retro rookies are not true rookie cards. The Compendium true rookie would be the base version which is not available as a physical card. It is digital only.

You missed the, in my opinion. I consider them rc’s and collect them as such. You can list the “rules” all you want. To me they are rookies and I’m pretty sure I’m not alone. But as I said, to each their own!
