Will This Years Rookie Cards Sell Higher Than Normal

Values with rookie cards are always going to be supply versus demand. With Black Diamond and Ice both being cut their will be less rookies available. Also with Series One being delayed two months I can only assume all other products will be delayed. Also the possibility of other products being cancelled as well. The sports card market has really inflated over the last two years and values have naturally gone up. Could this year be the year that hockey rookies see a big spike in price? Sometimes less is more.
 
It's a good question. The rookie crop is very solid but there's no real superstar to drive it like a McDavid/Matthews type player. I could see many rookies selling for good prices though, like Caufield, Raymond, Zegras, Knight and Swayman just to name a few.
 
It will be interesting now that Olympics are a maybe and we have a mini lockdown
