Will UD Replace my Redemption with ADEQUATE VALUE?

Talked to UD again today. 8 months after telling them I wanted a replacement for a 150.00 card that wasnt being made, they are saying that a package is going out in the mail in the next 48 hours.

I have gotten redemption packages in the past for cards not being made. Out of the 5 that are off the top of my head, there were 4 with a BV of 100 and 1 with a BV of 200. The 100.00 redemptions were replaced by 3-4 card packages that totaled 100.00 but were not adequate value as they called it. The 200.00 card was replaced by a 125.00 card and 2 50.00 cards. More in BV, but not adequate as the cards have a sell value of 10% of BV to 20% at best.

So...will UD come through for me this time with actual "adequate value?" No idea what I am getting but will post it when it shows up.

Curious to see the responses.

I think it's just a "crap shoot" on issues like this. Hopefully, they'll throw in a couple of $100 + cards to replace your card. Good Luck! ~ Nail

I'm with Mark on the 'Crap Shoot' that is the UD redemption process...

Hopefully what they are replacing isn't a PC item and that the received items bring in some well deserved cashola... :dance:

Unfortunately the redemption was for an item what would have been a solid PC piece. I traded over value for this and then UD decides not to make the card. I hope you are right though. If I get something decent, I might sell it and buy a PC piece instead.

Other than the caray cut which replaced a higher end thing, I continue to get the shaft from UD .

I'll go with even book value, but it will be over 2-3 cards where BV is not even relevant to what they actually sell for.

I say over BV- I'm a Contrarian (if thats a word) I think UD has got to hit one out of the park sooner or later and it may as well be you.

Well, it looks like UD definitely did right by me...finally.
To make up for the delay, they sent me a Roger Clemens UD Auto. For the replacement, they sent me an Emmitt Smith Sweet Spot Auto /25.

Very happy about what was sent. Looks like a little persistence pays off!

Nice to read that UD can figure out the sports not associated with 'Ice' though.....

Given the current state of Clemens, getting the Emmitt is pretty good. I'm sure that'll be a nice PC piece as well well.
