Well today is this year's NBA Draft. The question is will you collect anybody coming out of this year's draft? Even if they get drafted and fall off the face of the earth *cough* Forte *cough* :p

I've narrowed my choices down to three players. I really enjoyed watching these players play in college and all have great potential.

1. Jarrett Jack-Already have a start, with a signed floorboard, has excellent driving to the hoop skills. I remember I read an article where he may have pulled out of the NBA Draft  but I don't think that is true.
2. Matt Walsh-Gotta love the 'fro, great three point shooter
3. Francisco Garcia-Gives it his all, really a great defensive player as well, comes from a great coach, Rick Pitino.

-Look forward to the responses

I like Francisco Garcia, I might get a couple of his autos or game used this year, Loved watching him this year at Louisville...

I would collect the Bucks pick, but why throw money at a guarenteed bust. It doesnt matter who they take the will be terrible. For Lebrons sake glad they didnt get the pick two years ago. The Bucks shouldnt be even allowed to draft

I've decided to not collect rookies anymore, because they have way too many cards. I'll probably pick up a few nice cards of the Pacers draft pick though.

EDIT: dherm, I don't know how far back you are referring to, but Kareem, Ray Allen, T.J. Ford, and Glenn Robinson were all good picks. All teams are going to have busts in the draft at one point or another.

If anyone can find 10 worst picks in the last 10 years I would be very surprised

Bucks traded for Allen

I wouldnt say TJ ford was a good pick, hes played about 60 games in two seasons.
He has finally been cleared for contact again.

Last year no pick
TJ ford we mentioned
Marcus Haislip - Milwaukee
2001 no pick
Jason Collier - Milwaukee
1999 no pick
. Pat Garrity - Milwaukee and some guy named Nowitzki they traded from Tractor traylor
1997 Danny Fortson - Milwaukee
1996 Stephon Marbury - Milwaukee
1995 Gary Trent - Milwaukee

I would say that Dallas has had even worse picks in the last 10 years:

2004
Vassilis Spanoulis

2003
Josh Howard
Xue Yuyang

2002
Mladen Sekularac
2001
Kyle Hill
Kenny Satterfield

2000
Etan Thomas
Courtney Alexander
Donnell Harvey
Eduardo Najera

1999
Leon Smith
Wang ZhiZhi
Gordan Giricek

1998
Robert Traylor
Ansu Sesay
Bruno Sundov
Greg Buckner

1997
Kelvin Cato
Bubba Wells

1996
Samaki Walker
Shawn Harvey
Darnell Robinson

1995
Cherokee Parks
Loren Meyer

Yeah, the Bucks traded for Allen, but I consider a trade like that to be the same as drafting someone (such as when Carter was traded to the Raptors). Ford, in my opinion, is a very good player. Injuries have plagued him, but it looks like he will be back this year. If the Bucks manage to re-sign Redd, they won't be all that bad this year (Ford, Redd, draft pick).

EDIT: You might as well add New York and Orlando to the list of teams that have done worse in the last 10 years.

but if you say you consider Allen like a pick--then the Mavs "drafted" Nowitzki
I dont consider getting J Howard and Nowitzki worst then the crap the bucks got.
And the Bucks are bad every year so they have higher picks then the Mavs.

You can still pick good/decent players late in the draft (Indiana and San Antonio have been doing so for a long time).

What about the Warriors? They always seem to be able to pick the biggest bust in the draft, no matter what pick they have. =)

I will be collecting whoever plays for the Pistons if they are not sent overseas right away to a european league during the season. But likely base cards of players to where I could do in person autographs and stuff.

andrew bogut because he's auzzie and thats what us fellow auzzies do. support our guys. auzzie auzzie auzzie :)

Josh Howard was a great pick for the mavericks, that kid has so much potential, and the only reason the years before that ****ed is because they werent on the map since j kidd was drafted there, which has been a while, but at least they aren't idiots like the bucks and passing up DIRK NOWITZKI
