X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

If you have not read the Wolverine "Origins" mini series (also available in HC and TP) the I highly recommend it. The art work and writing is very good.

Wolverine is becoming something of a Mary Sue. Or perhaps Marty Stu. Disco Stu. Whatever. Too many stars align for him too often.

Marvel has a habbit of overkill on popular characters, Punisher, Venom and now Wolverine. These were all great additions to popular titles but good old Marvel can't resist driving them down our throats.
