Worst Case of 2013 Leaf Best of Hockey?! + 1 Box

I opened a 3-box case and another 1 box of the 2013 Leaf Best of Hockey.

I was really looking forward to this product, but the only thing I got was a huge disappointment. :duh:

Especially the second box of the case was a complete joke… I definitely expect more than one $50 BV card in a $250 product… :curse:

At least the single box was really decent.

While not the best memorabilia hits, the sketches are very nice. The Orr is kind of meh, but its Orr. The others are outstanding. Especially the Geoffrion.

I agree with the above. The buyback hits weren't all that great in the case...especially the Miller. The lemiuex is nice though.

Feels like this was very front-end loaded, as the breaks seemed to be getting weaker.

Looks like some of the sketches might ease the pain a bit.

Congrats on three decent boxes! Well, the second box with Miller is indeed horrible, probably the worst Leaf box I've seen, if I'd bought only one box and pulled that I would be upset. But all else, as far as I can see you easily get over $100 from each box. And these days (sadly) that is good. You know how many $400-500 Cup tins you don't even get $100 from? Or Dominion? Or other highend stuff? You got three out of four pretty good boxes, and valuewise, you paid roughly 1K for them. So that's equal to two Cup tins. Good look getting that cash out of two average Cup tins even when they're fresh and new.

Truth be told, other than the box with the Miller, you didn't do bad. And the Lemieux is sick!

I've seen plenty of worse boxes, so don't feel too bad. And like someone mentioned, look at all the Cup tins that go for $500+ where you get a base, a 3rd liner jersey, a scrub RPA, and 2nd liner auto. $50 in resale vale. So it could be worse!!
