Bid for almost a complete set of 86-87 without the Jordan RC, for about 200-250, or buy two packs of the product for a chance to pull a decent Jordan auto the odds are like 1:12 of pulling a Jordan RC, there's 36 packs per box, and they yield 3 jordan rc's.

I can get two packs for 100 each, or I can almost buy the whole set almost on ebay for about 200-300 without the Jordan, I think the obvious answer is to buy the set, and then just save up for the Jordan, but I want some input plz!

I'd be very leary of the unopened wax. I do know a collector that opened a case of them and pulled over 35 Jordan RCs. So your collation is about correct. I'd get the set cause there are a ton of great rookies in there also. Then buy a pack later on and gamble....then stop gambling and save up for one. I doubt you'll pull one as finding a reputable place for older wax is very hard to do, and whose to say what they bought was legit.

well the guy I was going to buy the packs from I know has a sealed box, he's had it for years, the wrap is still around it, and he's thinking about busting it open at his shop in the next few months, and giving me two for 100 a piece!

But I am leaning on the set without the Jordan a lot anyways, it just makes more sense!

This has been brought up before. If you can actually get untampered packs at 100 a piece you should probably go for it. That being said everyone who has commented on this and the previous thread has warned about the tampering.

If they are untampered I'd say go for it but you say they are sealed and I'm not too sure that boxes were even sealed with anything more than a piece of tape.

I am dying to see you bust a JOrdan rookie if that gives you any incentive. :)

yeah but I am only getting two packs, the odds are stacked against me, and for that price I can almost buy the whole set minus the jordan!

I know Florian is gone but I don't think the 86 Fleer came in a SEALED box. I think those boxes are like the old hockey and baseball, no seal around them.
