how hard of a pull are the Zenith game used Mozaics cards? the first few boxes i opened, i didn't get a single one. then i opened one more box and got a single and a double. then, i buy a bunch of blasters from Target (one GU per box, it seems) and pull a few singles and a Bruins triple. i am assuming that the multiples are harder to pull?

and does anyone collect these? seems that the cards contain 2-3 players (with some exceptions, of course) of second string players...

Dave...I think someone here said in a previous thread that the mosaic triples were a hobby case hit. I don't know about the regular GUs.

i was wondering the same thing, the triple jsys seem like they're decent pulls cause from what i have seen, the third guy is usually the best of the three (Rangers - Lundqvist, Oilers - Hall). some of the selections are terrible IMO (Thrashers - Boulton/Antropov/Pavelec). i would've liked if they did a forward, d-man and goalie for every team....but yea, ur probably right on the triples and doubles being harder to pull. would've helped if they were numbered

I put togethor the Flames rainbow, and oddly enough, I located them in order of Non-GU, Single Swatch, Dual and Triple. I'd assume it would be easier to pull the singles then duals/triples. Also In the case of the Flames, it included Iginla, Kiprusoff & Backlund. So 2 Star players and a prospect. I wonder if GU availability played into the player selection.

Only 150 of the triples, they're a case hit.

Just back from vacation... this number is very interesting.

20 triple mozaics x 150 = ~ 3000 cases

A broad assumption of 1/2 the product to Canada and 1/2 remaining in the States

1500 US cases = 30 (24 box) cases per state, which is way, way too much

Many of their products have nice features, but if this is the Panini model, demand will never meet supply. Looks, to me, like another product that will bottom out to blowout prices.

if you noticed in my OP, i got mine from a retail blaster from Target. think this may throw a wrench in your numbers.

Yep, understand. Retail will skew the numbers slightly, but I was just going for the simpliest math. Whatever hits they put in retail will stretch the amount of unopened on the market. I think the wax market (down to 75.- a box already)will prove there is just way too much being produced.
