Well almost a Made To Order.

We are now planning for the 10th Anniversary of Ultimate Memorabilia. I can't believe it was just ten years ago at the National that we announce the first edition of Ultimate Memorabilia.

Time flies when you are having fun.

Now its your chance to help create the 10th Anniversary Edition.

What insert ideas would you like to see return? What new ideas would you like to see us attempt to do.

I have always made cards for collectors so here is another chance to speak your mind as we are listening. All ideas will be considered.

By the way, thanks for the helping make Superlative Hockey Volume Two such a success, everyone at In The Game appreciates it.

I would love to see a new edition of Country Of Origin.

EDIT: Preferably with new faces that weren't featured in earlier sets.

why not a throwback in general? take the top 10 subset designs over the years and reintroduce them with new players/photos

Of course I am biased, but Id like to see a tough guy subset - Top 10, #'d to 10 (to celebrate 10 years of Ultimate) PIMs of all time, possibly with jerseys/patches from all the clubs they played for. Id love to see a Probert Wings/Hawks dual, or a Dale Hunter Nordiques/Caps/Avs triple?

Again, to celebrate 10 years, a patch set of the guys who lead the league in PIMs for each of the years of Ultimate? Anyone for a Konopka patch card?

You get the idea, something with enforcers!

I personally love the idea but let's hear how others would feel pulling a Tie Domi patch or a Stu Grimson patch out of an Ultimate Pack.

Not saying your wrong, just looking for other opinions on this one as I have considered it many times.

I also was looking into a Tough Guys wax product but not sure there are enough collectors to make it work.

I remember when this came up last time, when everyone was suggesting a Protect And Serve card set, one with an enforcer and one with the scorer they were protected. I made these for that.

I'd love to see this kind of set made, even if it's not the same design.

I think a Starting Lineup 6-jersey card for the Stanley Cup Champions of the last 10 years would be a pretty sweet idea.

For us CHL lovers, a similar concept for the Memorial Cup Champions would also be very cool. I've been hoping for a long time now that you have a Josh Gorges Kelowna Rockets jersey kicking around somewhere, and it would go really nicely alongside pieces of Weber, Comeau, and company.

How about a "top ten goals" or "ten historic goals" ? Each card could be numbered to its overall ranking. There would be 10 cards of goal number 10 and only 1 for the number one most historic goal.

How about an Ultimate Champions set for those who've won Gold at the Worlds, the Olympics and the Cup? It's a small enough group, but also has some pretty good names attached to it.

I would love to see signed stick pieces, pad pieces and puck pieces.

Induction years, a piece, or auto from each person inducted that year.

A team card of the cup winners... try for the entire team...if space is and issue split it into two cards.

i am in agreement with all that said the "Protect and Serve" cards would be pretty dang kewl. i have always liked the "Journey..." concept... i guess the only thing i would like to see would be more STL Blues cards.

Doc, If you made an enforcers type set that was low numbered, they would be hot sellers. Especially if you went with the big names like Probert, Domi, Semenko, McSorley, you could sprinkle in Ted Lindsay for fun, and even some of the newer cats like Colton Orr (Toronto fans would go after them), Matt Carkner, not sure about Konopka but you get the idea. A 10 player set, all with patch pieces, and number them low like the Emblem Attics a couple years ago /4 or /5, I think you would have a real winner on your hands.

I would also like to see a low numbered version of the Captains C return but with a little bit larger patch piece if possible, those were always very highly collected.

How about a new Border Battle set based off the Olympics:

Miller vs Luongo
Halak vs Kiprusoff
Iginla vs Kiprusoff
Kane vs Toews
Kane vs Keith
Doughty vs Johnson
Ryan vs Perry
Ovechkin vs Crosby

There are tons of possibilities for combos in that set.

Love the concept, but wouldn't the likeness or licensing be the major issue for two of the better combos? Semenko-Gretzky and Probert-Yzerman, aren't Gretzky and Yzerman exclusive?
