Gamers...what are you playing right now?

If it makes you feel any better, I knew someone that tried the race to 1K on Final Fantasy XI. I think he gave up halfway through the realization that it was going to take like 700 hours to do it.

Well the dumbest thing is that neither of us thinks we will 1K it at all. I think scoring five different ways is going to be basically impossible unless you get crazy lucky and he thinks the EAUHL is going to be the hangup. Still, getting Gretzky's point record for a career is TEDIOUS.

I have enjoyed it so far. Its fun, silly game. gives a nice break from all the fps's out there

Good. I figured I would do the FS trade deal before it expired tomorrow, so I picked it up tonight. Now I just have to go back tomorrow for Gravity Rush on the Vita. They were sold out tonight.

I've been rocking TMNT for nintendo, forgot how dang hard that game was, stupid electric seaweed

Rented Witcher 2 for a day just to check it out.Holy crap talk about adult oriented.Lots of violence tons of blood and graphic nudity. Was actuall a fun game my only two complaints thus far are it has like 4 different levels ranging form easy to the hardest you can get.And of course if you play the hardest level you get special equipment later on and special quests you can only do by playing that level.Me wanting to see all a game has to offer i went for it.Probably a mistake.I figured things would be harder take some more time killing. Not exactly.A couple hits and your dead.I could take on 1 solider and if i didn't move right a couple chops and i'm dead. The only other complaint kinda snowballs of that.I was playing on the 360 and sometimes i would try to move and it would just stay and then...dead or i would start to move and it would do some magic spell then...dead.So anyways game has a crap ton to offer and since i kept freaking dying like very 5 minutes i didn't even scratch the surface but will definatley play again.

I'm struggling to get through two games right now.....Lollipop Chainsaw and Resistance: Burning Skies.

Lollipop Chainsaw is just plain stupid. Piss poor graphics , gameplay with the depth of a sheet of looseleaf, and most annoying of all, swearing just for the sake of having swearing. It's like the game was developed by a twelve year old who had just been given the go ahead to use the F-word whenever they wanted.

And Resistance: BS for the Vita is one of the most rushed, poorly developed games I have ever had the misfortune of playing. I LOVE the Resistance Franchise, but this one has the worst collision detection I have ever seen in a game, characters who magically warp around a level: (ie: your partner will at the top of the ladder as you climb down, and when you get to the bottom she'll be standing there waiting for you.), and graphics that would have been considered sub-par at the launch of the PSP. I tend not to give much credence to game reviews for the most part, but they seemed to have this one right....it is just a REALLY bad game. The developers should have their licence rescinded. Uncharted: Golden Abyss really shows what this system is capable of, while Resistance: Burning Skies sets the whole handheld genre back to about the mid 90's.

Traded in for Spec Ops: The Line tonight. I'm not big on shooters, but the story line in the single player campaign on this one sounded too good to pass up. Popped it in for 30 minutes, and so far it has not disappointed.
