Gamers...what are you playing right now?

I had to stop playing NHL '12 for awhile so I'm on Spider-Man: Web of Shadows. Not TERRIBLE but goddamnit, the camera is super wonky.

I've been notified that I've been sent Madden 13, NCAA 13 and a beta copy of FIFA...so...those now.

I picked up Who Wants to be a Millionaire 2012 yesterday for $.97 (seriously) and it's got really good Kinect voice recognition (you can play completely using your voice without any controllers,) but Ubisoft couldn't make a good game show game if their lives depended on it. They ****ed up all the basic rules on this one too.

I've been trying to get through to 100% on Lego Batman 2 in the meantime, but the game is all kinds of glitchy now that I'm in the final stages. It regularly freezes in levels and doesn't recognize when you get minikits and save at checkpoints. What a f'ng pain in the ***.

I keep getting to the point where you battle the JokerBot outside city hall but when I beat that part and the cut scene shows Robin coming to save me, it always glitches and nothing happens.

I'm playing Age Of Empires 2 right now, just finished Grand Theft Auto (and when I write Grand Theft Auto, I mean Grand Theft Auto).

I'm surprised there hasn't been a big update for Lego Batman yet.

I don't recall a Lego Game since the Star Wars original trilogy that's had a bug fix Steve. Traveler's Tales tends to pump these out without looking at the havoc they're creating.

I think Batman 2's biggest problem is that has too many interactive variables on the screen. At any time, there's at least a dozen environmental interactions available on screen, and I don't know why the game was so villain happy, there's what...maybe 5x the number of other Lego games?

Do you ever notice patterns in the crashing Ryan? I've noticed it always seems to be when Superman or Joker are on screen. Not just that, but most of the time, it's around one of the water effects. The water textures in the game are fabulous, but not when they're crashing my damn XBox.

Oh well...I'm down to 2 levels to "complete" in free play, and then just a matter of going to get the last character, and do whatever you need to at Lexcorp when you get all the gold bricks, and I'm done.

I did get Madden, NCAA and "nearly complete" beta versions of FIFA and NBA Live last night. NBA Live has really flown under the radar...I wasn't aware they decided to go through with it after all.

There was only one other instance of a glitch happening that stopped me in my tracks but it didn't reoccur so I didn't think twice. Little things happen for me -- sometimes I'll clearly run straight over a bit and it won't pick up. Other than that, that Joker/Robin glitch is the only one I've encountered but it's keeping me from finishing a level. Don't know how patient I'm gonna be.

I've noticed one pattern, particularly with flying characters - if you get caught by certain wind effects, that'll trap the game in a loop.

Anybody buy Madden 13 and see how lazy the commentary is? I didn't mention it in my review because I didn't think it was as bad as it actually is once you've played the game for a few hours.

Jim Nantz did like bare bones on the play by play (recording only a few names for each team and in only one tone) and the game doesn't recognize blowouts at the line of scrimmage. If the game is 6-3 or 60-3, it'll still fire off the same "THIS IS A CLOSE GAME FOLKS" lines.

The game stretches to use those recorded names too. A Seahawks series of plays might go:

"1st and 10. Tavaris Jackson in the dime package, looking for SIDNEY RICE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nice catch for a gain of 3 yards"

"2nd and 3. Tavaris Jackson with the play action. SIDNEY RICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! incomplete pass"

"3rd and 3. Tavaris Jackson looking for a receiver. He has him! First down"

"Hey Phil?"

"Yeah Jim"

"What is Australia's #1 selling brand of rice?"

"Oh god here it comes...."

"SIDNEY RICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Matt the commentary on most sports games sucks. I usually play a few games with it on the just blast my itunes.

I keep on debating if i should grab Madden. I haven't played one since 08 or so.

Right now im playing Rock Band Blitz. Harmonix went back to its Amplitude roots with this controller game were you blast notes on all the lanes you want. Its no longer about 100% a song its about score wars and seeing how many points you can get over all the tracks. All previous DLC and exported titles ( RB1, RB2 AC/DC, Green Day, and Lego) work in this. So if you used to play rock band and have a bunch of music sitting on your hard drive grab the demo or just download the game. Their is a bit of a learning curve, but once you figure things out it gets easy.

Edit::: heres a video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Prz5IxFGziE

I played the RB Blitz demo last night (I'm waiting to see if we're getting a review code from Harmonix before I buy it) and the idea of a score based game of that sort is really tripping me up. I played Amplitude till the cows came home back in '04 and '05, and that one was all about keeping your combo across the highways and transitioning on 4/4 beats. This one is going to take a while to get used to because I'm already conditioned to do it the old way, that's for sure.

I near the end of Lego Batman. Just Lego City to do for that last gold brick...and Supergirl.

Then I can put the fricking game away and catch up on BBT.

It goes without saying (it is a lego game afterall) that Lego City is a bit glitchy. I would go over to the Acme Chemical plant and try to get all the studs out of that ASAP. Apparently I did something irreversible the first time I played it and messed up everything up, wasting a half hour in the process.

Finished NHL 13 review the other day. Moving onto FIFA this weekend, and then NBA Baller Beats
