Decades The '90s

gonna be an expensive year!
was thinking about a subset of players who ,due to the time period and where the hobby was at,did not have any auto'd RC's.maybe retro-rookie auto's or something of that nature.guys like:
Belfour
Linden
Mogilny
Bure
etc.

as for players i would like to see sign who you don't see very often:
Buekeboom
Kasparaitis
Mattias Norstrom
Numminen
Nemchinov
Turcotte
Carey
Harvey
Palffy
Renberg
Zubov
Juneau
S.Richer
P.Turgeon
Soderstrom
K.Stevens
Kovalenko
Malakhov
Wregget
Skrudland
Cassels
Puppa
Fetisov
Janney
etc.

come to think of it,alot of the guys i mentioned were all "imports" and that would be a cool subset being that the '90's was really the explosion of overseas players inclusion into the NHL,like the Fleer Ultra Imports set from 92.

and please load it up with enforcers!

Manson
Probert
Ewen
Grimson
Domi
Kocur
Butcher
May
etc.

also,i think a cool multi level chase program is in order for the auto's or game used.after all that WAS the 90's.would love it if you could incorporate the prismatic card stock used in last years or prior years Masked Men sets and have them signed as the most limited auto's in the set.that would be friggin AWESOME!!

Peter Popovic and Oleg Petrov!

but seriously, please please make some awesome inserts with various designs and ''textures''. I'm running out of interesting Selanne inserts!

When I think of the 1990s, these are the goalies that in my opinion represented the decade, in no particular order, not just Stanley Cup and award winning. Including the members of this first list would be almost essential to a 1990s goaltending list.

Patrick Roy
Arturs Irbe
Dominik Hasek
Martin Brodeur
Byron Dafoe
Mike Vernon
Bill Ranford
Ron Tugnutt
Jose Theodore
Jocelyn Thibault
Tom Barrasso
Ed Belfour
Mike Richter
John Vanbiesbrouck
Kirk McLean
Curtis Joseph
Stephane Fiset
Jeff Hackett
Guy Hebert
Felix Potvin
Ken Wregget

Honorable Mentions. Good players, but more niche, under the grid, or remembered more so in another decade:

Ron Hextall
Glenn Healy
Tim Cheveldae
Bob Essensa
Damian Rhodes
Patrick Lalime
Andy Moog
Fred Brathwaite
Sean Burke
Trevor Kidd
Jim Carey
Jon Casey
Chris Terreri

I'll second the ideas of Shaw and Palffy. Some Wings to add into the mix: Coffey, Sheppard, Dallas Drake, Ciccarelli, and McCarty. Other suggestions (I apologize if previously mentioned): Larmer, Bondra, Irbe, Potvin, Weight, and MacTavish

Love the ideas of the number one picks, also I like the idea of triple autis featuring some of the more prominant lines. Also, maybe some other auto subsets for award winners, things like conne smythe winners, all star mvp's etc.

i would love to see a smurf line triple auto of the habs shorst lived trio of valeri bure/saku koivu/oleg petrov

As much as it pains me, the Matteu goal in 94 may have to work its way into the set. Same with the Volek goal the year before to beat Pittsburgh. Acutally, might as well do a playoff goals insert, GU or auto set of 10-15 memorable goals from the 90s.

You'd have to include this one then:

This was one of the biggest upsets of the 90's, and the first time that Oiler fans had anything to cheer about in the playoffs (well, at all really) since Messier left.

Add my name to those calling for Benoit Hogue, Islanders

Kevin Kaminski, Caps (for my wife, and the frustrated Fleer Throwback collectors)

Adam Deadmarsh, Avs

Sounds good to me. As long as the Brett hull goal is on the list too.

Not a big fan of most of the players mentioned, but then again there probably aren't too many people who'd be thrilled to pull a Marc Bergevin auto either, so I'll throw his name in the mix. :)

Forgot to mention that it would be amazing with a set of autograped goalie tandems (maybe not of every teams but like 12-15 cards or something is enough)

Mike Richter / Glenn Healy NYR
Dominik Hasek / Grant Fuhr BUF
Jim Carey / Olaf Kolzig WSH
Tom Barrasso / Ken Wregget PIT
John Vanbiesbrouck / Mark Fitzpatrick FLA
Stephane Fiset / Jocelyn Thibault QUE
Andy Moog / Darcy Wakaluk DAL
Chris Osgood / Mike Vernon DET
Arturs Irbe / Brian Hayward SJ
Tommy Soderstrom / Tommy Salo NYI
Ed belfour / Jeff Hackett CHI
Kelly Hrudey / Daniel Berthiaume LAK

There are many possibilities to make a absoltely stunning set.
IMO 90's has the most interesting collection of goalies compared with other decades.
But sounds more like BTP than Decades 90's....

There are also many famous line formations during that decade (already mentioned by others)

Lindros / Renberg /Leclair
Lemieux / Stevens / Jagr
Selanne / Tkachuk / Zhamnov
The Russia Five in Detroit
Selanne / Kariya
Kamensky / Forsberg / Deadmarsh (?)
Hull / Oates
etc....
