Do you have a hobby related instagram? Leave the username here!

I'm super late to the Instagram party but better late than never! I've had a personal account for a while now that I literally never posted on once so I'm repurposing it to post about cards. My username is:

FrozenInfernoCards

I'll be going through all the posts in this thread and adding everybody. Would appreciate a follow back and will probably start posting once I get a few card folks on board.

I have to admit, I'm enjoying instagram more than I thought I would. Since I'm only adding card people, it's fun to just scroll through awesome card collections.

Mine:

tom_barrasso_mastercollector

And my personal page, if anyone cares:
nicky_chrissy_77

I am starting to post mail days, spanning the far too many things I collect. Username is rhinosgonecrazy (after my website domain). It is separate from my personal one, which I rarely posted on anyway.

I will go back in soon and add the folks in the thread.

I've been on Instagram (for cards) since 2015, so it's been nice seeing that platform for the hobby develop in the last 5 years.

And for my hobby account, I do the same and just follow card people. No drama, no negativity, just cards. I love that.

Quick tip for new people like myself--apparently you can't upload directly from a pc (or Mac) without going through some convoluted settings and getting to a mobile "version" of the site. Even then pictures are not close to what I uploaded somehow.

I dunno, may just need to tinker around with it some a bit.

Kinda stinks. I have a website that I maintain and was just going to make IG uploads just part of my workflow and manually upload each image to IG when I update the site.

You can always update your site like normal, then hop on your phone and go to your site, save those photos from your site, then post them up on Instagram.

I think I tried that (well, I copied them directly to the phone, but same idea). I tried a few different things, but I believe it cuts the top off and the resolution is all wonky. I dunno, I'll have to tinker more. But for the time being, just taking pics with the phone works. It's a few a day max, so it won't kill me.

EDIT: I've also found that thumbing out a bunch of text is garbage, especially if you plan on tagging a lot of things or put in urls. I just type it up on my laptop, email it to myself, and copy the relevant parts on my phone and past in. Geez, I sound old.
