Ok, I have here like 10 boxes (at least) and I believe it's this...
All 11-12 boxes:
1x UD S2
6x UD S1
1x Black Diamond
1x SPx
1x SPGU
(I say "I think" because the contents some of the boxes may have been compacted together into other boxes...it's at least these 10)


To get me in the right mood, I went out to buy a bunch of 05-06 Rookie Update because it has like 5 different Dustin Penner RCs and I still need the 05-06 SPGU update one. Since the beginning end of round one I've been rooting for Penns and Carts. I made a little gif of the Kings too for laughs...


But my guy Dan who has had boxes of this stuff for many years, has finally run out. So instead I did what I didn't want to do...catered to my UD base brand addiction...and it went from a few boxes to double digit boxes.

Got some hits! Lets check em out.

Trade list...I apologize that there are so many super-high enders but I do a lot of singles buying and not much trading so only super-high ticket items that I can't find or just haven't gotten around to because getting other cards (or boxes) is draining my immediate funds. Some cards are recent...

Also, I'm terrible in using HI's trading tools...it's me, not them.

Box 1, 11-12 Upper Deck S2

I only got one box as it was the last one...I'm still looking for a ton of cards from here.

Also pulled a Matt Read retro OPC rookie but I think he's cold right now, hobby-wise.

This box was pretty much a miss box. Normally you get 6 to 9 case hits in a 12-box case but this was one of the remainder ones. I did get a UD Canvas YG though but unfortunately it's a dupe. I did get one common one I need for my "set" although I'm not building the set officially until I get the RNH POE.

Love this product so much...obviously trying to hit the RNH YG but I have 3 of them already including at least one gradable one.

Like with S2, looking for UD Canvas but I have the RNH already.

Not a bad box here.

When I open these boxes now, all I see are either Kings or Kings' playoff victims or the victims of our victims, hehe.

Also, I have to go back twice and look over all of the backs of the base to make sure the card doesn't have a DC number...I've opened four Day With The Cup in S2 but none in S1 yet.

Lots of solid YGs so far. I think this year more than ever, UD has put out and sold lots of retail so the number of YGs printed is probably very high, maybe 5 to 10K of each card.

Box 8, 11-12 Black Diamond

Normally I would never open this product but I ran out of UD base brand to open. And if I do open it, I open at least four, optimally 5 or more, but never a case. There are a lot of fun inserts in this set but they really need to revamp the whole product. Double, triple and quad diamonds just aren't interesting.

Overall ho hum box...lots of dupes in here and I only opened like 2 boxes of this stuff so far, lol. The other quad was Jari Kurri. The Ice RC was Cam Atkinson

Also I noticed they cut down on the quad jersey cards, which no one cared that much about either...those cards aren't in demand and they dragged down the value of other quad jersey cards. It would be better to have dual jersey with more interesting subject matter.

The Team Canada thing is definitely more interesting. :)


I can totally fix this product...make all of the rookies quad diamond and give two quad RCs a box. Make all of the other cards just single diamond and include all of the great retired players UD likes to put in. That way people can still get parallels of them.
