Just came across this on ebay... Patch looked a little too fresh, a little too questionable??

Lemieux Patch ??

looks like it came from the 1992 Playoff Jersey in this link,

Maybe, I'm completely wrong... but something seems fishy.

I'm curious what others think
 
As an eBay Associate we earn from qualifying purchases.
I have seen at least 3 copies of that card which had patches from the 25th Anniversary shoulder patch from that link so it's not a stretch they used the Badger Bob patch as well. The material in the linked card does seem a little off but so hard to tell from those pics.


Wonder how many jerseys were available as well as Panini has also used the 25th Anniversary shoulder patch as well.

Ahh crazy, good to know. I guess the final price will dictate what people think :)
Thought it was a little off for ud to use a jersey 11ish years old. But i guess anything is possible
 
I have no opinion on the validity of the patch, but his sales pitch sounds a little over the top.


You bought the box back in 2003, finally opened it tonight and this card was in the last pack?

Wasn't the Lemieux patch one of the ones that was severely limited?

Or was that the 04/05 patches?

Still looks like that would have been the one they used on the website - since most of the ones in the checklist pics were nice patches
 
Most of those patches were fantastic pieces so I'm not sure about the fishyness. There was a guy on HI that had several cards from that set maybe he can share some light?
