93/94 Stadium Club 1st Day Issue

This was noted on another thread about a year or so ago. The are versions of the TSC that has the printed in the USA (Topps) & one without (OPC), i think. So from the 2 posted about, i think the Fleury is the "OPC" version. Someone can correct me on the basic Topps/OPC variation difference.

The different years was the actual year it was printed in. The cards above, the latter is a series 2 card (350-700). Most split sets, like Topps & UD, that have or had a series 2 after the beginning of the new year did this.

You're correct, but what makes it OPC? Sure, I know the difference, but who decided it is called OPC? Did packs say so? Why cards say Topps?

At that time - all Topps products sold were through O-Pee-Chee when O-Pee-Chee was sublicensing from Topps. So all hockey cards would've come through OPC then.

The only card products that didn't come up through OPC distribution basically were Topps baseball, football, basketball and non-sports cards that weren't carried by OPC

I thought it was the reverse. The ones that say printed in the USA were the OPC version if I recall correctly.

If someone is interested, i have for trade-opc variations
