Hey all, I wanted to start a collection thread that I can update as my journey through the hobby continues. I started collecting hockey when I came home to Canada during the pandemic and it's been a whirlwind since. I've almost completely shifted my focus from my old hobbies to hockey cards and I'm incredibly happy I did. I've never been more happy doing a hobby and it's been a real pleasure to get to know some of you on here and elsewhere. The hockey community's great and I'm glad to be a part of it.
One of my favourites growing up was Nicklas Lidstrom and so when Hedman came onto the scene I followed their career with interest. The pandemic afforded me some time to watch Hedman in the playoffs last year and it was a treat to watch his Conn Smythe run.
Today, I'll just be showing my Hedman PC as it's the one I feel is closest to completion. I'd love to find a HG Young Gun one day and maybe add a shield or two but those would just be finishing touches on this. Anyways, that's a lot of text, enjoy the pictures below!
P.S. A very, very special shoutout to the HI member who helped me out with my Hedman Gold Cup RPA /77. I'm not sure if I should shout him out by name or not so I'll err on the side of caution, however it's something I'm incredibly thankful for. A million thanks!
