At the beginnig, I want to make it clear that I understand and fully realize that I am a fool and I made a big mistake. But I still want to warn you to pay close attention to the wretch guy with nick Urbanus71!



Last week he contacted me with a trade offer on my card, specifically

Unfortunately, I did not like any cards of his collections so I suggest a sale for paypal money. He agreed, but he wanted to send him the card first, because he has more than 4000 ratings, while I have only about 100. Yes, I'm a fool, a naive person, but I believed that the hockey card collectors are mainly decent people. Moreover, when you look at his collection, it's not a fake account with a few free base cards, but with cards for several hundreds, maybe thousands of dollars. I agreed and the card was sent. Since then, he has written me that he will pay for the card in a few hours, and then he stops all communicating.

Maybe there will be somebody who knows him, it is someone from Germany, probably collector of Pittsburgh Penguins cards, maybe mainly Guentzel, but I never thought it would be such a scamer.


So it is my story, be careful guys and don't give any chance to these idiots!

Yep, i have been on this users case since day 1... he has scammed many people over on ePack... but i cant be online 24/7 to warn people no matter how hard i try to get him banned... the best I got was a 1 week suspension...

It's almost unbelievable. How is possible that he is not already in ban? One week suspension? Really Upper Deck? What is this for punishment? Even if it was a month or a year suspension, it's nonsense! The only possible solution is immediate account cancellation and ban on ip address... But I understand it. Why would they steal ownself about the opportunity to earn money, they do not really care if they are some scammers, cheaters or thieves, the only important thing is make a profit ... Omg, where does this world go?

Inform UD that he was making a cash deal with you...even though you may get a short suspension he may get a worse one for a repeat offender.

I'm very sorry to hear about this experience, i had also come to an agreement with that creature for a paypal/epack trade deal for a Penguins high gloss yg. He assured me that after I traded him the card that he'd pay right away. Something told me not to trust him, I offered to accept a goods payment to try and ease his mind, he would have none of it. We went back and forth as he touted his 4000+ feedback and ran ME down for not being trusting of others lol. Long story short, we agreed that I would list it on eBay, he would buy and pay for it, then I would transfer him the card. The guy buys it, but never pays!

In the end I was glad that I didn't get scammed, but at the same time, the fact that someone attempted to scam me was a disheartening.

Don't feel bad he scammed me for $130 when 15/16 UD 1 came out for a McDavid YG.

I sent family and friends payment. Learned my lesson...

I contacted UD and they did absolutely nothing about it. Every few months he scams someone else and keeps getting away with it. Total scumbag!

Doesn't matter. Upper Deck does not care. I had everything (and still do as I copied it and kept it).

Sadly this is why it is upsetting UD does nothing about him. He looks legit and just keeps on scamming people.

Please write on [email protected]. To subject give Report of URBANUS71 and attach all the evidence you have. You can write that you heard about other people who cheated and therefore you are reporting him again. That applies for anyone whom this cheater scammed!!!!

At the beginnig they wrote me that it was a my mistake because I broke their Terms and Conditions, but after admitting that I am aware of my mistake, I did not ask for a card back, no refund or anything like that, just very beseech asking them to STOP this thief, they replied that all my communication will be hand over to their "investigation team". Maybe it's just polite words for shut up, we dont care, but we have to try all the options. We need to fight against such people!!!!

Sorry to heard you got hit by him too. His name is Rene Meinel, lives in Germany. He is a big & known scammer on alot of different sites not just epack and he goes back decades sadly.
