Big Time Shiller?!

Well, after an earlier run in I'll post this from user denis_king33 http://www.hobbyinsider.net/forum/showpost.php?p=1292884&postcount=31

"Our cards are sold online through te following user ID
Kilga (Stephane Tremblay)"

Kinda odd how he's now using his goalie-30-33 ID to bid on his sellers items?

http://cgi6.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.d...30-33&completed=1&all=0&rows=50&sort=3&_rdc=1

Brutal shilling at best on the Stick Rack.

Need more? How about Denis bidding on his own stuff with his own accounts?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320446801726 sold by Denis as per his thread above

High bidder goalie-30-33 (also confirmed in the above HI thread link) as confirmed here

I hope this guy is blocked from HI. He is the same tool that sold me the Emblem Attic /5 I needed for my set and then used that for quick leverage to sell it to someone else for full BIN on eBay....prick.

I fail to see how those two auctions support your case for shill bidding. That user has bid on two of the seller's items, in a background of 100 bids overall. Those two bids constitute 1% of all bid activity.

That's pretty weak evidence to support a case for shilling. Got more, please forward it my way.

goalie-30-33 made a huge purchase off me a few years back and was great to deal with. He payed for a nice chunk of my wife's phd, lol.

I remember he was making some big purchases at the time.

Not sure if this is relevant at all but he was a good buyer...

He did the same thing to me recently. We worked out a value for a trade and then he ended up selling it on me before we actually shipped the cards... Brutal!

Steve, the evidence PROVES that he bid on his own stuff... whether it's only 1% or not, it's still SHILL bidding when you bid on your own items...

Rod - Oh? I must have missed the posting where that ID was linked back to kilga, and I am referring specifically to the auctions posted by Arthur. Darren's post needs no further explanation.

Silly me, I didn't realize we followed the Napoleonic tradition of "Guilty until proven innocent". This accusation thus far is a farce.

Denis is a guy from Montreal who is one of the biggest Roy and Brodeur collectors around. I have always had great dealings with him so I cannot say anything negative about him. However, if there is evidence of him bidding on his own items, then a ban is in order without question

Steve, I was referring mostly to Darren's post, not the OP. The fact that denis_king33 has very questionable practices and has been proven to shill bid (just click on Darren's links) and has been called out on numerous bad dealings should be enough to make people not want to BUY FROM him. There is no doubt about it he is a great purchaser when you have something he wants and no one will ever complain about a deal where he was the buyer.

Since being here on HI for a very short time he has managed to tick a lot of users off by his questionable practices. I will never deal with him again after the crap that went down when I tried to trade with him a few short months ago and I am sure I am not alone...

Guys please read my initial post carefully...

The first auction is the winning bidder... 88%

The 2nd auction is the "2nd highest bidder, (50$ bid)"... 26%

Now maybe for some 26% isnt good enough but when you have over 150 bids, it is. Well, to me at least.

I didn't notice that the first time because I didn't actually click on the name, however when you look at Darren's post underneath you can see that all the items goalie30-33 has won has been from Kilga and roy.brodeur.store which are both linked to him... That's shill bidding... no doubt about it... and if someone can't see that then they are looking with blinders on.

Most definitely. I had no idea of this person, (people), until after i had a chat with Darren after his post.

I just dont get why someone would buy their own cards on a regular basis and pay the fees. Quite dumb

Ah, egg on my face for misunderstanding the thrust of your original post. I completely went in the wrong direction Arthur.

Please disregard the comments in previous postings, I clearly should not have spoken as I did.

Hi
I haven't been here for a couple of weeks as I was quite busy but decided to drop and see what was happening on the Hobby Talk front. And then I read this thread that concerns me.
Yes someone is posting some of my cards under the Ebay username Kilga and the other seller that posts for me is angelgabriel02. This person sells some of my cards along with cards for other people. I looked at both auctions you guys were mentionning we are not even talking about the same bidders on the 2 different auctions. For the Geoffrion the guy that placed several bids has over 17,000 rating and for the other one it is someone who placed 2 bids.
As usual here (this was one of the reasons I was not coming here as often) is that people are in a hurry to bash other people right away. Without even looking at the whole profile. My friend Darren Dahabsfan who is always one of my strong supporters will gladly take a pleasure to bash on anyone he doesn't like
I have a perfect rating here, a perfect rating with the username angelgabriel02 and my friend has an almost perfect rating with his username kilga and yet I still get bashed
If people just stop for a moment and think about most of the talk around here and see how negative it has become.
I am sure a lot less people are coming her because of the negativity.
If you look at my auctions, I do not need to have someone bid on my items. when I want a specific price for an item i place it on a Buy it Now Best Offer mode.
Why don't you guys ask the person before bashing right away.
As for user pahrmad30usp yes I did make an honest mistake on an Emblem Attic card that I sold him forgetting to remove it off Ebay and then someone picked it up for the full buy it Now price. It was my mistake i tried to fix it and unfortunately I couldn't. He got his money back but was still upset
As far as crankshaft is concerned why is he alsways bringing up questionnable practices. 34 transactions were made here and all turned out with positive feedback. What is the problem
When people don't like you here, they take such a great fun destroying someone's reputation. Why don't you ask all the members who dealt with me and left feedback may be it would more representative
Thanks for hearing me out and hope everyone has a great day. I am sure once again I will get bashed but you know what, there is nothing i can do about it
Thanks to Steve and Frank for wanting to keep this as neutral as possible
Regards

That's funny....we had agreed on a $$ value for a bunch of cards, and then after I sent the Payment one of the cards was sold after the fact on eBay by kilga. I was assured by all those involved in the situation at the time that it was a simple misunderstanding, but the repeat nature of similar shadiness has me wondering for sure. His items also get sold by user marief.2009 on eBay.

1. Your biggest supporter? Hah, I gave it the benefit of the doubt after one incident and should have known better when my cards magically appeared for sale in your bucket again. Shame on me.

2. Bashing? You bid on your own damn card. What do you really expect? "Congratulations for shilling your own auction" :badmood:

3. It's not the negativity pushing out of the hobby, it's all the friggin' dishonesty and other bull**** going on.

I'm done, continue on with the "legitimate" ebaying.
