I think everyone knows what he's talking about/means when he made the statement. Doesn't matter what team they are on, he is looking to make them pay. Funny how that's the second or third player now to come out in the press and say they are coming after the Canucks for their actions? You don't hear that from players about any other team, wonder why that is.

All I know is the first games between Chi-Van, Chi-Phx, Edm-Van, Edm-Phx BETTER be televised. I can't wait to see Maxim and Raffi and Kevin turtle, repeatedly. :beer:

I really don't blame him for not knowing/caring about where other players in the league are when it doesn't invovle his own team. I'm sure he has other concerns than memorizing the current rosters of all NHL teams; doubt he spends the off-season watching That's Hockey. He was based on the last time he saw the Canucks play is all.

Hey. Don't get me wrong - I think it adds some spice to things for sure.

At the same time, if you're going to open your big yap for the cameras and call out some players on a specific team, you should at least make sure those players still actually play for that team.

let me regale you all with a story as told to yours truly by my friend who is a high school classmate of mr. carcillo.

during an off-season in his young nhl career, he returned home and a bunch of them went out drinking one night. youthful exuberance fueled by alcohol led to the eventual destruction of public property including a row of parked cars. after destroying everything in sight with nothing else to break, carcillo decided to smash his own car.

*validity of the story is up for debate - hearsay is not usually admissible in court but this IS carcillo we are talking about.
