Neither would I. I also feel if we went back to that (late 90's, early 2000's) It would put the focus back on card design. I feel each auto / game-used card would be valued more by the collector as well. It would hopefully cut out all the dead weight auto's/GU that has flooded products of today.
This will never happen of course, it is not in companies nature to dial back profits lol.
Anyways I hope everyone can find a way to enjoy the area's of the hobby they like and ignore the area's they don't.

UD flirted with this when they did the Fleer Retro product the first time. They also ended up flooding the product with cheap autographs and a few top tier ones for chase...but honestly, the product would have been fine without those.

Stickers are slowly (or maybe not so slowly) increasing every year.

UD just needs to put their thinking caps on and find an alternative to the sticker or redemption issue, I'm sure there's a better solution than 1 of these.
 
I was actually looking forward to getting a Kaprizov, but I absolutely do not touch sticker Autos whatsoever, aside from the caveat being if it's a super special card (generally an older product) where I'm not buying the card for the Auto at all.

I'd prefer the card not be Auto'd at all.
