Couture returns to the UFC! Couture VS Lesnar official!

So what, who would watch that for free even? Elite XC at least puts some decent fighters in their free show. And by decent I mean their best fighters, which I realize may not compare to the UFC's talent, but they throw their best out there for free all the time. When was the last time Chunk Liddel fought for free on tv? UFC gives you Bisping for free, YAWN!

Its fine if you guys all love the UFC for what it is thats your opinion.

I just miss the days before all the TUF Noobs were around, when the UFC threw together monster cards that made me want to pay for the PPVs. Now you may get one half decent fight and the rest is all garbage and they know they are the only game in town and people will pay. The UFC is so much following down the road of the WWE it makes me sick.

I long for the day when another fed can compete with the UFC, and force them to throw together some more solid cards. Everyone wins in that situation.

You're right how dare the UFC put their best fighters on Pay-Per-View instead of Spike. They for the most part only put their U.K. "PPV's" (and they don't alweays do that) on Spike, but that's what brought us a great Rampage v. Henderson fight for free.

I'm also really looking forward to this card. I was really looking forward to the
Karo Parisyan and Yoshiyuki Yoshida fight before Karo got "hurt" yestrerday. Two top notch black belt judo fighters, that interrests me. I'm most looking forward to seeing Henderson against Palhares, Hendo's ground and pound against a BJJ black belt. I think that Palhares wins. And then Martin Kampmann v. Nate Marquardt. I think the winner of this fight could face the winner of the Henderson Palhares fight for number 1 contender at 185. And the Franklin fight is only interesting to me because he's moving back up to 205 to fight Hamill.

And I'm sorry Elite isn't putting their best fighters against each other. If that were true on this next and most probably last CBS card they'd have Kimbo v. Brett Rogers instead of Shamrock, and Gina would be fighting Cristiane Cyborg. But no those are their "money" fighters, and they can't have them lose. At least the UFC is putting on competitive events.

And if you want to see some really great fighting and a possible challenge to the UFC (down the line) get HDNet and watch the DREAM events from Japan.

I do watch Dream, and also Affliction was great (here is to hoping for more great cards). They both blow the UFC out of the water as far as their cards. Most of the cards of Dream or the Affliction card are MUST SEE, most of the UFC cards are not must see. That is MY OPINION, and I am sticking to it. There is nothing wrong with Bisping, he should just NOT be headlining a show.

While I am not watching UFC tonight, it is actually a decent card. Still IMO it lacks a strong secondary fight.

The Carano/Cyborg fight and Kimbo/Rogers fight are in the works, however, they want those to headline their first PPV card early next year.
