Verified Trader,
I’m a little surprised at the price of a tin this year. For me, it makes sense to buy from canada given the exchange rate. It doesn’t look like the American distributors took this into account.
I am quite surprised by the price stateside too, was thinking it would be cheaper than last years but go figure.
Yes, the US price is the same as last year, but there is no Matthews and even no top rook. At my LCS nobody is buying at USD 540/tin. I would expect that US prices will go down quite a bit.
For what it’s worth, I can order boxes online from canada at about $460 US.
Wholesale is $499 Cdn. per tin. No idea what they are going for at stores though.
Dave.
Eh $499 CDN ain't too bad considering what it's been previous years
I remember when it used to retail for around $500, not wholesale.
I did a lot of Cup breaks last year, but from what I've seen so far I'll be buying single cards this go around.
I have in my mind like 350USD as initial price on 2005-06 Cup tins.
I remember paying about $350 a piece for two tins of 06-07. Those were the days lol
I did a 3 box case and I’m not happy. I put everything on eBay at auction so hopefully I don’t take too big of a beating. I’ll post the highlights in the appropriate area tonight
