www.lumberjackcards.com,
This. We have more than 6 feet between us and the TV length wise, but width is an issue. A friend of mine who purchased and brought his over is considering re-arranging his living room to be able to use his Kinect properly, which is pretty crazy because I have to be honest -- I wouldn't go to those lengths.
This isn't an issue for you guys since you live in a house Joe, or for us, but it's problematic for people that live in an apartment building since a lot of the Kinect Adventures games involve a crapload of jumping, and I can foresee a lot of noise complaints as a result. You've got little ones though Joe so it might be a fun family thing for sure. I don't think I'll be interested in purchasing unless someone like EA jumps in and adds more functionality into their sports games (like Fifa goalie control or NHL goalie control)
So when you guys are talking about spacial problems is it simply having enough room to physically move around or are there some sensor issues with the machine if the room doesn't fit certain dimiesions? I have a big but narrow family room that I am sure will be a fine fit for the actualy movements however I would prefer not to have to readjust due to the sensor having issues.
No noise issues here and you are right on the money Matt - this would be something for me and the family to smash around to for fun - we are far from hard-core gamers but I would prefer something with a little more meat than the Wii, if only for the blu-ray capabilities.
