Gamers...what are you playing right now?

Picked up Duke Nukem Forever in the bargain bin... I knew I was going to buy this game when it hit $10 and I finally lucked out. I took people out on a day trip for work and found the game at a Walmart for 10$ it was still 30$ at my local wal mart.

I am still finishing my third playthrough of Dead Island.. Once I finish that I will be playing Duke Nukem in all it's glory... He is a helluva man.

Finished Reviewing Grand Slam Tennis a couple weeks ago. Yawn.

Just finished reviewing MLB 2K12. Yawn.

Now reviewing Fifa Street. Good game. Not a great game, but a good one. A bit buggy, but it surprisingly doesn't take a lot away from the game itself.

Haven't picked up any of the major titles to come out recently (not a fan of ME3 or any other titles that have appeared recently). I've spent most of my time lately on Street Fighter X Tekken (an ok game, not to be taken too seriously. Many people in the FGC aren't fans of it for many reasons). Also been playing a lot of Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and Tekken 6 (noticing a bit of a pattern with my games lol). Also been playing around with Hot Shots Golf and Escape plan on the Vita.

The idea of fighter crossover fighter titles peaked at Capcom vs. SNK 2...I've yet to see anything that convinces me otherwise.

Tekken and Street Fighter are just two so very different fighter franchises that I think there's really no happy medium. If they decided to do Virtua Fighter x Tekken...that might be more of a natural fit (though it wouldn't sell many copies since I can count one hand the number of people I know that play Virtua Fighter.) I haven't played Street Fighter x Tekken I admit, so maybe it is as good as Capcom/SNK, but everybody I've spoken to that have played it (including our reviewer at XBA) say the game just lacks, or is too awkward. That being said, I'll probably pick it up and play it sometime this week so I don't sound like a hypocrite anymore lol

there really hasnt been a good crossover title that i can think of either since cvsnk2. sfxt is fine as a casual game, but the preset combos are useless and stupid and a lot of the other mechanics are flawed as well. That being said, if you are planning on picking it up, i know my work (EB games) had dropped the price by 20 bucks earlier this week (not that surprising really considering at my store me and my buddy were pretty much the only ones who bought it lol)

Me and a buddy are in a race to 1K in Marvel Superhero Squad: The Infinity Gauntlet against two friends of ours. Played for 5 hours last night and we're already up to 425. Not a bad game; some buggy *** controls at times, bad camera work.

Plugged in my PS3 and have been playing Katamari Forever again. Finished the regular mode, which unlocked "Drive" mode which is essentially the same game played much faster with a "motorized" Katamari. It's really cool on the "Roll **** up and make a big Katamari" stage, but because you never really have it under control as well, a pain in the *** for levels where you have a secondary objective. I'm stuck on a level near the end where you have to roll up hot stuff to make the Katamari 10000c, but because the thing spins out of control at the slightest touch (especially if one of the NPCs run into it and push it,) it keeps flying into cold stuff or into the water. Pain in the ****ing *** -_-

Not sure what I'll play after that. Probably a roll of the dice between starting God of War 3 or Red Dead, or finishing Little Big Planet 2. Dunno yet.

I'm not much into gaming in general but Sniper Elite V2 for the PS3 was a preorder/must buy for me after playing the demo ad nauseum

It's not about the Xray cam - although cool if not gruesome - but more the ballistic cam and being able to pick off people from a distance without having to get into a crazy melee shoot em up mode at close range (which I suck at - just ask my son!) :owned:

And my sons both are into Minecraft for the Xbox - nice to see them get along!

I have been addicted to Boggle on the iPad. Does that count?

It's still a video game, so yes :)

Beat Beautiful Katamari on Drive mode...I got stuck on that damn stage till Saturday, when I miraculously managed to take a different route, and beat the stage in less than a minute

Then it turns out the stage right after was the final one...so I'd gotten almost that far just to give up. Kind of like Mafia II...I've been stuck on a stage forever, and as it turns out, it's the last fight...but I just can't get over the hump to beat it.

Not playing anything console-wise right now.

Just finished Uncharted: Golden Abyss on the Vita, now I've moved on to Resistance: Burning Skies. Once that's done, I'll finish up Resident Evil: Revelations on the 3DS and possibly Kid Icarus. Next week, it's gonna be Lollipop Chainsaw on the PS3.
