Honestly, I'm just happy that Randy has more composure then I do, because a year or two ago he and I would be suspended (or close to it) by now. I gotta give him credit, I don't know how he does it. It's also nice that even though I know some Canuck fans have probably been pissed at me during this series, and vice versa, I think it has been kept pretty civil without getting personal aside from one instance.

It's settled on me recently that all you need is a little perspective. Be passionate, be loud, but in the end, win or lose it's just a game.

How about John Scott decking whoever in the face after the whistle with no reason to? Henrik getting a diving call after being shoved to the ice? Really? Some of the most one sided reffing I've seen.

im sorry, but that was a dive.

k... I hate writing "lol" in posts/messages/texts, etc... but that dive was the funniest thing I have ever seen! And i actually LOL-ed!!! :) Well played sir...well played! haha!

Thanks for posting it and giving me a good laugh before bed.

Game 7 should be fun... I don't think I want to be downtown Vancouver that evening! (no matter if they win...or lose!)

Well - if there is a silver lining - at least the Canucks showed up, dominated for the most part and showed a fair amount of heart in this game. I think we are in good shape to win this series but we are making it far more difficult than it needs to be.

Hats off to the Hawks for continuing to grind and work but I can't even express how pissed I am right now - I am going to rewatch this game again for some unknown reason.

In our corner - outside of the Henrik dive (which led to two penalties being called instead of none and did lead to a goal) the Nucks showed a lot of heart and determination, AV showed that he does actually kind of know how to coach in the playoffs and this team does have the grit to win - now we just have to do it.

For a completely homeristic standpoint - how in the he hockey sticks is that a penalty shot - I am completely baffled. Not to say they wouldn't have scored on the PP but how do you call that when you are letting the teams compete so hard for the rest of the game? Either way - I am going to have a coronary at some point...far too much stress than I need to endure...ahhhhhh...

I just question the consistency of the refereeing in this game. As a ref, if you don't have the balls to make a call, or 'want to let them play', in the 3rd and OT, why does it seem okay to make those calls in the 1st and 2nd? It's frustrating when you carry the play for the 3rd and OT, yet nothing is worthy of an infraction. Do the same crap in the 1st and 2nd, and it's called all the time.

The refs in the ANA/NAS game gave Anaheim a penalty with a minute to go when they were on the brink. I can understand them not wanting to directly impact the result of the game, but letting everything go does the same.

Way to fuel the fire MODERATOR. I think that is called trolling..is it not?

Exciting game to watch. The hit on Bieksa should have been a penalty in my opinion, but oh well, there's aint no changing it now. I would actually say that Schneider's poor plays cost us in this one. Canucks looked good for the most part. Game 7 should be a good one!!

Uh, no it's not trolling when it's 100% fact. If the Canucks lose it's the biggest choke job in NHL History and deservedly so.

As a fan of neither team - and with more impartial eyes........

1) A great game for entertainment purposes !!!! End to end action and rushes, lots of hitting, and the refs let lots of stuff go EITHER WAY. They could have disrupted the flow of the game by calling interference about 10 times - but did not.
The Canucks remind me of the 97/98 Detroit Russian Five a little bit - the Sedin lines played with the puck and kept in the zone for entire shifts! Also the way that Vancouver was using an updated version of the left-wing lock to make sure the Hawks were having trouble breaking out of the zone with speed.

2) The Hawks defense is really solid when all hands are on deck. The trio of Seabrook, B. Campbell (when he plays games without making bone-headed give-aways) and Keith are as good a top 3 as anywhere in the league.

3) Dont' shoot the messenger Vancouver fans............. But the OT goal was just so typical of Luongo's fatal flaw. He makes the same mistake a lot - he either misjudges the speed of the puck coming at him and instead of catching it - or guiding it to the boards - it plops straight out in front of him for an dangerous poke in....... Or he just plain has a bad blocker hand. I am not saying that he cannot be a world class goalie - but even if you back to the Olympic Gold game against the US - same faults.

Game 7 ought to be just incredible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Rod - it is not a FACT, it is your opinion. If the Canucks lose, arguments can be made the Bruin 'bad timing' (I hate the word choke) last year is worse. Arguments can also be made the Flames losing to the Canucks in 94 after being up 3-1 was worse. I could probably come up with a few more, but it is 4:24 in the morning and I haven't had my two cups of coffee yet. Hell, an argument can be made that Chicago was actually favoured in this series.

Plus, the actual fact that you waited until after the game (when tempers and passion were at their highest) to write it, could be seen as a bad decision.

Rod, I like you, you're a good guy, and do an admirable job at moderating on these boards. But, this time, like Vegaspuck (who is also a moderator), you should not have made this comment in a GDT. Granted, it wasn't as 'baiting' as Vegaspuck's, but it should not have been said nonetheless.
