Would this even be going to 7 if Bolland was in for the first 3 games, Hawks might have put them away already? I said it before the season started, the Canucks were my pick to win the West and win the Cup, but there is just something about the playoffs they cannot figure out. I feel bad for a couple of Nuck fans on this forum, even if your team wins game 7, they have put your stress level to the test and it's only the first round.

He's probably referring to the full force punch to the face after the whistle, the high stick after the whistle, the crosscheck during a penalty, the slash that broke the stick, etc.

I agree though, the game was called well, all things considered. The only thing I can really think of that they screwed up was the over-the-glass call, but that is a real-time thing and must be very difficult to call sometimes. the Bickell hit should have gotten two minutes for sure.

But hey, Canucks got away with a couple of trips too.

I agree completely. I'd much rather see a game called like this than the way it was called in games 4 & 5. It let the Canucks show their dominance. It was a one hell of a game, I'm just glad I don't have to watch game 7 with my brother who is one of "those alarmist Canucks fans". That part wasn't fun tonight.

Torres gets a penalty for his hit on Seabrook but Bickell gets nothing? Nothing for Bollands two handed axe chop of Henriks stick? Torres got a goaltender interference call for that? Really?

Seabrook didnt have the puck and Bieska did. I'm sure we can find a couple cross checks and slashing from Vancouver. so I think it was pretty even

How about John Scott decking whoever in the face after the whistle with no reason to? Henrik getting a diving call after being shoved to the ice? Really? Some of the most one sided reffing I've seen.

Exactly. Bieksa had the puck and they should be allowed to bang it around down there. He hit him with his shoulder, and while I could have seen it get called, it also diet surprise me when it wasn't.

I'm just pissed that I have to work during game 7.

Hope Schineds is ready for game 7. His positioning and poise seem to be better than Luongo's - most Canuck fans don't realize the two long runs he went on with the moose so playoff hockey isn't new to him.

He was outstanding tonight outside of the two mistakes he made which he should learn from and not have happen again, he kept the Hawks at bay.

I had no problem with Lou's play in relief. And anyone that thinks that if healthy Schneider gets the start is crazy. For better or worse they're going with Luongo. Play Schneider in game 6, if we lose then we can say we tried the switch and have Luongo in for game 7. AV didn't want to have to face that decision if Luongo had started and lost game 6.

Exciting game to watch. The hit on Bieksa should have been a penalty in my opinion, but oh well, there's aint no changing it now. I would actually say that Schneider's poor plays cost us in this one. Canucks looked good for the most part. Game 7 should be a good one!!

I will take credit, no worries, and I will scream bloody murder that Bickell should get the same suspension as Torres now, I mean an eye for an eye right (although Bieksa at least had the puck but that really doesn't matter)...... :devil:

Here's one for ya, I'm at my mother in laws for Easter watching the game, my wife, son, and I are the only people out of 18 cheering for the Hawks, and even I said when it happened that I thought the penalty shot call was WRONG. Frolik stepped on the stick and went down, the stick was not swung taking his skates out. It was all on Frolik in my opinion. I guess I will be in the minority on this though since no one else mentioned it.

I didn't actually have a problem with the penalty shot. While you may be right about how the play went down (I haven't watched it back or anything) but Frolik wasn't able to get the shot off and that, generally, is the determining factor in awarding the penalty shot on such a play.

Honestly, I'm just happy that Randy has more composure then I do, because a year or two ago he and I would be suspended (or close to it) by now. I gotta give him credit, I don't know how he does it. It's also nice that even though I know some Canuck fans have probably been pissed at me during this series, and vice versa, I think it has been kept pretty civil without getting personal aside from one instance.
