Just a topic that I thought would be fun to share with each other!:)

I bet this could be a sizable thread!

I'll go first........

My moniker here is "Prime".

I chose it for a few reasons. One, I was a huge Transformers fan growing up (still have a massive collection in fact). Also, I wanted to be the "rival" of Lionel who you all know on here as Megatron. I guess I like to purchase "prime" cards as well. Just a fun little thing.

My current Ebay id is bgr_ice.

That one is simple to explain. It is derived from the initial of my first name Barrie and then my last name Grice, split up so it forms the word ice, as in what they play hockey on. Cool huh?;) :D

I had another before that, bigbear37.

That one was my nickname, which is Bear, and big, well, because I am a large lad, 6'5" 220+. The 37 was because when I signed up for EBay Chris Drury was one of my favorite players at the time and I had just started a PC of him.

So what's your story boys and girls?

I have Bugjam as both my HI and Xbox Live Names, I picked it as I love VW Beetle Cars and have done since I was little (maybe one day I'll get to own one) anyways Bug Jam is a VW Beetle Festival held once a year in the UK, and thats where I took my name from. :D

My ebay name is Bugjam-luvs-Kings (extremely cheesy), it wouldn't let me have just Bugjam and so, as I'm a Kings Fan I added the other bit. :p

I really need a new ebay id  :p

aaronlo - HI/beckett ID - Why? Because I have 0 Originality and Creativity

ebay id: aaronlo123 - Why? See above..

HI handle is Bunny 89 because it was an old nick name of mine from back in the day, and 89 because it was a significant year for me. Ebay ID is bdianebq, which is an account that my wife opened several years ago, and I never bothered to open a new one or change the name...which may help, as some folks assume it's a girl and might underestimate me. Who knows??? ;)

Well when I join ebay I picked the name, as I was looking for parts for my 04 Dodge Srt-4 turbo Neon.. Hence the Srt4gurl . And then I figured, why change nicknames... So, I just use the same for the forums, less confusing that way lol thats my story and I'm sticking to it

When I was in 7th or 8th grade (meaning, somewhere around 1998) I made my first accounts on the internet. I was stressed for ideas, and went with "hatzosman6" as a play on my last name, Hatzos. The "man" was added for some sort of effect that probably sounded good to me as a 13 year old, but looks a little odd now :p . Six is my favorite number.

My ebay ID is "hatzose". My mom has always gone as "hatzose" on the internet; a combination of "Hatzos" and her first initial. She signed up the ebay account, since I did not (and still don't) have a credit card. I just decided to keep the account name since it's been so long that I've been using it...

...similarly, that's the main reason I've kept "hatzosman6" around here and Beckett -- familiarity. Nearly everywhere else on the internet (i.e. non-card places) I'm known as "The Great Zo", a self-compliment-augmented version of "Zo", a nickname I was given in high school. Where did that come from? Examine my last name again ;)

My first ebay ID was camaro69,Because 69camaro was taken.Always wanted one since junior high so when I got out of school I had many.Still my most favourite muscle car.
Than back a few years ago myself along with my two sons started a small local card buisness( lasted only a few years). We called it winniescards because of my high school nick name of Winnie the Pooh(a very friendly bear) and of course my name was Winston. So it wasn't long until I took that id to ebay as well as here on HI.I still use camaro69 on some trade sites.
And now that I am only months from retirement my plan is too open up a card shop here in our small community.I really enjoy the hobby talk with people and meeting new people that are involved in this wonderful hobby. And with any luck at all I will be able to recover that old company name and display it out side my shop.Sorry for this long read but I thought it was a good one.
Happy New Years to all of the great HI members,Winston.

My name is Olivier Beroud and well easier it is better it is for me
so i picked up 3 first letters of both and that became .... suspense suspense drum rolling OLIBER ! Amazing !

and my ebay id ? hard to find , hard to understand, impossible to transalate it's olivierberoud

sorry guys, nothing amazing in that post
Olivier

This was Chip (he's gone now, or is more accurately, in an oak box on my mantle):

This is his doppleganger, Ray Bourque's Shih Tzu, Stanley:

Anyway, all the cool kids' names were taken on eBay and Beckett, so I went with chips*dad because the wife and I have no real kids, never planned on having any, and I was Chip's designated dad once I conned my wife into marrying me.

chips*dad here, on eBay and on Beckett.

H.I. handle: Jobu - Comes from the movie Major League - my nickname 'cause I couldn't hit a curveball when I was younger.

eBay: R.C.L.508 - Jobu was taken/not avail. My family are very active members/supporters of the Royal Canadian Legion and this is our branch #.

My HI handle is a combination of my favourite team's nickname (Senators = Sens) and a random number. Why 555? I accidentally hit 5 when I was making my e-mail account, so I figured two more would make it look fancier. Also, it's a lot easier to remember than something with 3 different numbers.

My ebay handle is non-existent. Seeing as I am too young to have an account, as well as the fact that I do not possess a credit card, it makes it a little difficult. I suppose pretty much everything I'd be able to think of would already be taken anyways.

HI Handle: Funkmobile ...taken from the Bass is Base song and have been using this Handle in BBS'es and on the Internet for almost 15 years now....

Ebay Id: vs_collectables for the lack of creativity I just too my initials and added collectables to it to form my hockey card company that mainly deals in wax.

My HI handle is Big Tall because, well, I am. Alright, well I'm more tall than big, but I digress...

My ebay ID is a bit trickier. jvaldez11 is the lovechild of two things. the "jvaldez" part is short for Juan Valdez (yes, the Cafe de Colombia guy). I used to pick strawberries as a kid to make money in the summer and I always wore a straw hat...so that's the nick I was given and it stuck for a long time. The "11" at the end is because all the way through school I generally took that number for my jerseys in whatever sport I was playing. No real reason for it, but there it is.

I like rap music, I have for 15+ year, 2 of my favorite artists back in the day were big punisher and method man. My favorite player is jagr #68 soooo...

Meth68 & bigpun68 on ebay.

less creative

HI is cjkuehn

ebayid is cjkuehn1
been there since 9/98 with
3122 positives, 2135 unique positives
and 2 neutrals.....

and yet the guy with a +2 on ebay files a paypal
chargeback against me and paypal still can't make
a decision on the case......i'll soon be dropping
paypal if I lose the decision....anyways......

funny how many ebayids I see above that have
won or bid on my items.....

I chose weasel-king way back in September of '97 while I was in college. In the early days of this strange thing called the internet there were cool sites like the Internet Underground Music Archive, Yahoo was just a search engine, and Google wasn't even a concept.

Well, prior to chain emails and mass forwarding to your friends, there were a lot of repetitive sites out there, among them the Deep Thoughts stuff from Jack Handy from SNL pseudo-fame. I found a site chock full of Deep Thoughts that someone came up with, much in the vein of Handy. One had to do with the king of the weasels. I wish for the life of me I could find that again, but that's how I came up with "weasel-king".

It's my username here, on eBay, Beckett--darn near anywhere I can use it. Oddly enough I've never come across any site that says "Sorry, this username has already been chosen. Please pick another."

EDIT: On a side note, I had a guy on Beckett absolutely refuse to trade with me based solely on my username despite numerous trading references and (at the time) over 1000+ feedback on eBay. So your IDs can bite you in the you-know-what, sometimes, too.

Mine is PENGUINSROCK93 for both.

Mainly because I like to use the same name all around the hockey world since people become accustomed to it.

The name is pretty straight forward. The Penguins Rock! The year is the last time they won the cup ;)

My ID on eBay is also BlindThomen, as it is everywhere else where a username is needed. It's a lot easier that way, I guess. Won't have to remember all kinds of different ID's.

As for the "breakdown":

Blind = My all-time favorite band Blind Guardian

Thomen = BG's ex-drummer Thomas "Thomen" Stauch

There you have it. :)

My ID here? If you need me to tell you what it means, I'm surprised that you even figured out how to turn on your computer.....

My eBay ID is yhzflyboy. The reason for that is that "YHZ" is the airline city code for Halifax, NS. I work in the airline industry, and at the time that I created my eBay account, I was spending more time in the air, than on the ground, hence the "flyboy" part of my name.

I guess I have three handles I use...

Big Brother Buff comes from high school. I was a gym rat, and was a pretty big dude despite my height (5'7") and the guys on the baseball and football teams took to calling me "Buff". My younger brother started attending the same high school when I was in my last year, and someone tacked on "Big Brother" and I liked it so I ran with it. I plan on losing 20lbs of insulation so I can wear my nickname proudly once again.

Triple B (HI) is just my lazy way of typing what's above. Folks on Beckett will call me BBB, so my alterior motive is to not be mistaken with the Better Business Bureau and have people e-mail me with problems (trust me, it HAS happened).

bigbrobuff (eBay) - you can't accuse me of being creative at this point. Don't fix what ain't broke.
