Here we ask how a card of a certain set looks like

Powerdeck 1/1 and the real Pinnacle Mint gold coin

I've seen almost every different 1/1 bit no Powerdeck. Also seen a LOT of silvercoins bit never a gold not the plated but the real deal..

It's been a while but I recall seeing one of the 99-00 Powerdeck "Auxilary Power" 1/1s. I think the only difference from the regular version was that the foil stamping was gold instead of silver, and the card was numbered (I believe hand-numbered) 1/1.

I have an example of what a football 1/1 gold powerdeck looks like. Same year and design etc. Gold lettering and 1/1 stamped on it.

I was wondering if anyone could tell me the difference between Upper Deck 97-98 base card and the game-dated moments parallel. I'm not sure which one I currently own

hope someone can help, thanks

I believe the actual GD ones are much thicker.

Here's a pic of a Game Dated parallel for you (upper left corner):

Other than the thickness, the surface is also different, more like a Black Diamond card.

A great picture otherwise too, there's several cards that absolutely belongs to this thread!

This is what I have been enjoying about my 90's Lemieux collection... tracking down tuff stuff. Who would have thought I even be excited to see a scan of a card that I wasn't even sure existed. That being said can anyone provide a scan of any of this stuff

1996-97 Toronto Maple Leaf Postcards (set of 4) that was given out at the Gardens that season.
1990-99 SLU Kenner Pieces (collector's club edition)
1995-00 SLU / Kenner Convention/ Show Pieces 1998 Fanfest

Will probably add in more requests at a later time.

Does someone have a rainbow (it's ok if players are different) from 2005-06 Be A Player? It has the base, 1st period (/100), 2nd period (/50), 3rd period (/10) and Overtime (/1).

Another rainbow request: 98-99 Topps Finest. I'm mostly interested in difference between No Protector and base without protector.

Finest 9899
base, no protector (back shown), refractor, no-protector refractor (back shown). I show the backs on these as this is the best way to ID the no-protectors from the regular versions. The back of the no protectors stand out more - and the refractor version of the no-protector has a refractor back too.

Thanks! So by "stands out more" you mean like embossed?

Yes - I would say that's probably the best way to describe it. Its a very subtle embossing - but when put side by side with a regular card, its very easy to see the difference. And then obviously the refractor (NP) backs are easier to pick out - though much harder to find! I forget what the odds were for those, but that was the last one I had to locate.

The odds were (according to Beckett)
No Protectors 1:4
Refractors 1:12
No Protector Refractors 1:24
